I had the most unprofessional experience ordering on the Jimmy Johns app from this location. Edwin (who apparently is the manager of this location) was extremely rude and condescending when handling an issue pertaining to my food not being delivered. The individual that delivered my food spoke no English and was unable to effectively communicate her location for me to find her in my complex. I went through various challenges and had not received my food so when I called the store to express frustration and know what my options were I was met with an insensitive attitude and complete disregard to what I was dealing with. I was educated several times on their motto of timeliness being priority and since my meal was delivered by a third party that JIMMY JOHNS selected, it was no longer their responsibility to replace the food or money spent. Edwin was a horrible representation of your company and to know he is the manager of the store (b/c I called to ask for the name) you guys should definitely consider training him on something other than the motto. The irony of him preaching about timeliness when I waited almost a hour to even get the food. (Fortunately, maintenance grabbed my food from the insufficient delivery person). I was having the worst day yesterday after losing a family member so I’m leaving reviews and complaints everywhere because people like Edwin should consider being more kind because you have no clue what folks are dealing with. Read moreWell this was my first time ordering pick up from this location; Not my usual jimmy johns that I always order from. Not happy at all, I was eating my sandwich at home and when I got to the second half of my sandwich there was curly hair (not my color plus I have long straight hair) inside my tomato. So I took a pic and tossed it in the garbage. I then called the location to speak to the manager, good thing I speak Spanish because she couldn’t communicate in English fluently (weird for her position, in my opinion) when I explained what had happened she got defensive and told me in Spanish; “no maam, I prepared all your order myself and that is not true or possible at all and me and my employees always take caution and use gloves and check all the food before we put it out” I explained I don’t have a reason to lie and that I don’t have short hair and my hair is black and that I figured that she should be aware. She then said did you take a picture I said yes. Then she said I have to bring in the picture plus the food. I told her I got upset and tossed, natural reaction. She then said there’s nothing she can do for me, so when o said that’s fine but I will do a review and reach out to cooperate her answer was “ that’s fine go ahead” and hung up. Read moreI had a fantastic experience with the Jimmy John’s on Fry Road. About a week ago, I placed an order that took a bit longer than what I’m used to with Jimmy John’s. I spoke with the manager, and he was incredibly understanding. He provided me with a credit and told me they’d take care of my next order.
Today, I called in and once again spoke with the manager.. Edwin, I believe.. who was just as pleasant, courteous, and professional as before. I originally ordered a full meal the first time, but today I just wanted the sandwich. Coke is great, but it wasn’t necessary. I asked them to deliver only the sandwich and to apply the rest of the credit, including the original tip, as a tip to the driver.
Let’s just say… they over delivered! The service, the attitude, and the customer care were all top-notch. This is hands down the best Jimmy John’s in Houston, and they go above and beyond what’s expected. Their dedication to customer satisfaction builds loyalty and draws in new customers. I genuinely appreciate their service and commitment.
