MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Texas

Worst customer service experience ever. I ordered a pizza and got there after hours (5 minutes because I pulled up at 10:06). I honestly didn’t realize they closed at 10 because some days they close at 11. I walked up to the door and pulled it and it was locked. That’s also fine. A guy that worked there was nice enough to come to the door and ask if I was there for an online order. I said yes and he told me They’d just threw it out. In the process of him starting an explanation the guy by the oven (I don’t know if he’s a manager or not) said “Oh hell no lock that door man. That order was due at 9-something.” To me the customer friendly thing to do would be either tell me to come back tomorrow because the location was closed, refund the money or at least call (because my number was on the order). I feel like the location’s due diligence was not done and the young man near the oven was extremely rude. Why would anyone tell any customer hell no lock that door? And why not at least call as a courtesy considering the phone number is on the order! I’ve been coming here for years and have had a couple of not great experience but never something as rude, inconsiderate and the complete opposite of customer friendly as this. In a customer facing position there is not room for rudeness. Especially when the customer is calm and legitimately...

We normally love mod. But this location is horrible. For the managers, i hope you look at this on camera. Wed april 23 at 7:15pm or so.

Seems like the staff made it a point to care as little about us as humanly possible.

There were 4 employees and we were the only ones in line. We got 1 mini and 2 mods. Instead of teaming up and helping get the order in, one of the guys was standing around. (Shoulder length dark hair)

The other guy prepping our pizzas was moving like a slug, like he was stoned out of his mind.

Misunderstood many of our requests. My wife asked for white sauce and he plopped cottage cheese onto the pizza.

And for the mini pizza, he literally put 1 pepperoni per slice like it's a school lunch pizza.

After i got our pizzas i went back up to get some red pepper and parmesan. As i walked up the guy turned away from me and startedbto micromanage the position of the pizzas in the oven. Gave him the benefit of the doubt because maybe he didnt see me. Shoulder hair guy saw me waiting but had zero interest in flagging down the other guy or coming to help me.

But get this. A few moments later a pretty girl walked in and he was quick to help her.

It's extremely rare i rant about a bad experience. But damn it was really bad. How poorly do you run this store to have employees go out of their way to avoid...

Man it sucks to say but…. The food always A1

But my experience tonight - 8/18 was not so good.

Ordered my pizza. Felt like a very hostile experience.

Guy making my pizza was very short and straight with a attitude. Even when i paid he handed me the receipt as if a “here get lost” type of gesture.

Dont know his name but man this place is usually upbeat and kind and “weird” and nice.

The guy with medium / long hair and bushy brows seeming like he hates his life and didnt want to be there made it all a garbage experience. Should really learn customer service. Maybe some classes and how to’s would help.

Gotta do better man. Cant have all that. I work in it all day with clients face to face and even when im having a bad day. I keep it together for my clients to have the best experience possible.

Over all location is always upkept and nice just not tonight.

Other guy that took over the pizza making was nice and friendly making customers laugh. Hats off to that guy. Keep it up. Your what it should have been.

The Open sign was off too. Maybe he didnt like people coming in late...
