The burger and tea ordered were very good. However, I won't return. The facility was very dirty...borderline filthy. I wish I walked around the restaurant prior to ordering my meal, because I would have turned around and swiftly left.
Five Guys, if you're reading this post please understand that the lack of cleanliness in this facility will put you out of business. Bugs are flying around and resting on the tables, previous customer's who were long gone still have a presence in your store because the food and trash they left behind remained on the tables and floors. Even the chairs were too nasty to sit on and EVERY table was dirty. I just can't understand how your staff works in this environment. It's amazing really. They should be appalled and working tirelessly to clean up. I counted 5 workers, including the manager, and the only customers were a couple sitting at one table eating and myself. Why can't at least 1 of the 5 employees clean the lobby in lieu of chitchating with each other?
Five Guys makes a great burger, but who cares when the facility is to nasty to walk into? It's like the public is paying you to make them sick. I'd rather eat a mediocre meal from a clean restaurant than an awesome meal from a filthy one. Please, please stop putting your customers health at risk because we don't...
Read moreFirst of all, I want to say how shocked I am with this experience. We love the food at Five Guys. I am 7 months pregnant and my husband works later hours than I do. When he got home, he suggested Five Guys because I was craving a burger and shake. On Fridays, they close at 9pm so we rushed to get there. I usually make it a rule not to go into a place in the last 30 minutes they are open. We walked in at 8:40pm and ordered. I apologized to the cashier, but felt better because there were several other guests. While eating our food, which was at least delicious, a staff member came out from the back and approached our table. She said, "We're closed now (at 9pm) so I'm going to need y'all to leave in 15 minutes. Thank you." I was appalled. I used to work as a manager for the Pappas Company and would have NEVER allowed an employee to make guests feel so uncomfortable! I won't be back for a while simply for that bad taste in my mouth after this experience. I asked the courtesy officer in the store about this and he said it was...
Read morePRO's: The staff are friendly and there are free peanuts. CON's: Burgers are small, greasy, no taste and expensive. Basically, an overpriced Mc Donalds burger. I came here because of all the hype, so I decided to check it out. Fries were good and plentiful, but way too salty. The way I see it, they are charging more because you can fill up on cheap items like fries and peanuts and wash it down with grease and watery coke with weak lids that break every time you put one on. Sadly, the place was filthy (tables sticky, bathrooms scary, etc) Burger Tex grill on the other hand, has an extremely LARGE burger and for twenty bucks you can buy two HUGE burgers and fill up on non-greasy good tasting beef instead of 2 tiny greasy burgers and a billion of fries. I will say Burger Tex charges too much for fries and drinks, but I would rather spend 20 on two large burgers than 20 on tiny burgers and a mountain of fries, but that is just my opinion. I like spending my money...
