I have NEVER been a fan of Waffle house, as a matter of fact I don't like it and try to make it a point not to go there unless its a last choice. This past Sunday 09/21/2014. We went to IHOP and there were lines out the door, we went to Dennys and people sitting outside waiting. (pretty typical for a Sunday afternoon so nothing different there) We didn't feel like waiting and stopped over at Waffle house. Waffle house had the shorter of the 3 lines. We put ourselves on the waiting list and waited patiently...HERES where it gets good...I stepped outside to smoke 1 cigarette and when I walked back in our table was ready. It was a spot at the bar, not my favorite but at least we were sitting to eat in a very busy place. A server quickly attended to us taking our order. As we sat I watched the kitchen crew, the wait staff etc and watched how incredibly busy they were, and man were they moving and grooving and all over the place and very quickly, there was no doubt they were slammed. Our food made it out to us, our food made it out and it wasn't bad, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about. What impressed me was watching the staff never stop moving to attend to customers, get the food out in a timely fashion despite being slammed...there system although looked chaotic was actually very systematic and well played, NONE of the staff looked irritated or as though they didn't want to be there, they all worked as a team to get things done, they were friendly despite all that was going on...EVERYONE jumped in where needed and it was insane and to me very impressive...I don't know if it happens like that all the time or not or even if it was just that day and maybe they had their A team on staff for that sunday..but kudos to the manager and their team for pulling it off...I am STILL NOT A FAN of waffle house, but their service that sunday and watching their team work together took a place that I don't like at all and made it a pretty...
Read moreI had to leave a star to even leave a review, If we could we would leave 0 stars. This location has been our usual go to for ears but tonight was the worst. There 6 employees in the Waffle House. There where 10 customers at 3 tables and a couple at the high top. It took 40 minutes for someone to take our order to go. Another 30 before it was even called to the cook, and then another 45 minutes before the food was even ready. In that tome 9 other people came in, ordered for dine in and got their food. When this was brought to the individual staff persons attention, their answer was sorry, I was doing what I could but would you want us to do. There was no manager on staff when we asked, 3 of the workers where to busy talking with the group of 4 guy customers and getting phone numbers, one worker was addressing their table and then 1 cook who was hussling, 1 cook came out of the back after we had been sitting there for an hour. He asked if we were waiting on a table, we told him no we had a to go order and he started going over the tickets to confirm our order. He couldn't find it, the individual who had it was to busy getting phone numbers to even put the ticket in rotation for the line but the orders weren't even being called in after being placed. The waitress was holding the tickets and calling them in randomly. If they were busy, cause we've been there when it's been busy, understandable for the wait. For a to go order (which you pay, tip, and even pay an upcharge to not eat at in the dining area for when the order is placed) to take over an hour WHILE 9 customers who come in well after you have ordered; to place and get their meals before yours is ridiculous. If we wanted to be ignored and wait over an hour for food we would have sat in the drive through line at the other restaurant, at least then the food would have been hot and...

Rating: ⭐ (1 out of 5 stars)
My recent visit to Waffle House was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff's lack of attention and rude behavior would overshadow any positive aspects of this establishment.
To begin with, despite arriving before other customers, I was completely ignored by the staff. It was disheartening to see people who came in after me being promptly served while I sat there feeling invisible. This blatant disregard for customers' presence and time is simply unacceptable.
As if that wasn't enough, the cashier I encountered was incredibly rude and seemed disinterested in providing any form of service. Their lack of professionalism and disrespectful attitude left a sour taste in my mouth, making me question why I even bothered to give this place a chance.
To add insult to injury, it was painfully obvious that the servers noticed my empty table and the fact that I hadn't received any food yet. Despite this, not a single one of them bothered to approach me or offer any assistance. The lack of basic customer care and attentiveness was shocking and left me feeling neglected and unimportant.
While it is true that Waffle House offers a variety of food options, including their renowned waffles and hash browns, these positives were overshadowed by the downright abysmal service I experienced. No amount of delicious food can make up for the complete lack of respect and consideration shown by the staff.
In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Waffle House based on my recent experience. The poor service, combined with the rude cashier and neglectful servers, made this visit a complete disappointment. If you are looking for a friendly and enjoyable dining experience, I would suggest seeking alternatives to...
