We can all agree we will not be returning.
I wish I could say this place was nice but the only thing good experience we had here was bowling. We came here to have fun with our family friends with whom we haven’t seen in years, however, my whole group of 9 can agree this place was not satisfying at all. We started with bowling for a couple of hours. Our waiter (I wish I could remember his name) was pretty chill with us and the loaded fries we got were alright, although I’ve definitely had better. After bowling we still had at least 2 hours until the place closed so we decided to get wristbands to do laser tag, play pool, and bowl some more. Our main reason for buying the wristbands was to play laser tag as many times as we wanted because that’s what we thought we were able to do with them. When we walked up to the employees working the laser tag section, they told us they had just finished their last game for the rest of the night and they weren’t doing any more. Mind you, laser tag and the whole place wasn’t supposed to close until 1am, it was 11pm. Obviously this made everyone upset, as we all spent around $23 to basically just play pool, which, if you’re with a large party, pool may or may not be a satisfying option for 9 people for 2 hours. We walked up to the front counter and the lady standing there looked at us, turned around, walked to the other side of the counter, talked and laughed with another employee for like 3 minutes, then finally came back over to help us. We told the lady that laser tag was shut down, and politely asked if we could get refunds on the wristbands. The lady gave us attitude and said, “let me call my manager.” she then said, “well laser tag’s not supposed to be closed until 1 soo.” We told her the other employees said it was closed and we didn’t know what to do. The manager (I think his name was Grant) came over and asked us what was wrong. He said “let’s go fix the problem,” took us over to laser tag, and got us one game. He also informed us that the wristbands were supposed to come with an all day game card to play arcade games. Nobody else informed us that the bands were supposed to come with cards, nor did anyone give us cards to begin with. We played a couple of games and when it was time for laser tag, we went in the room. upon entering the room, the lady working the desk gave us attitude and told us to grab any vest off the wall. She said put them on and go. She never told us any rules or safety precautions, how the game worked, if we were split into teams, how to put on the vest, shoot the laser gun. Nothing. She sent us in and said go. the game lasted for a few minutes. Pretty much everyone’s vest or gun had something wrong with them. For example: my gun would shoot or make the sound of it shooting, but wouldn’t hit any targets when directly aimed at them, even up close on the target. I asked the lady for help on what to do. She gave me even more attitude and told me to just grab another vest and go. The whole experience was not fun or entertaining at all. After laser tag we decided to use the game cards and play some games. Most of the games were low quality, out of order, or some parts didn’t work. For example: there were a total of 3 balls for all 4 ski ball machines. Most of the basketball hoops wouldn’t count any of the shots made, and air hockey never gave us the puck unless we hit the side of the machine really hard.
Overall, this place did not give us a good experience and again, we will not...
Read moreA. For starters the whole place is ran by teenagers. So attentiveness, customer service and communication is highly lethargic.
B. Everywhere I looked , trash is just everywhere. trashcans are overflowing, trash piles, everywhere all around the bowling alleys and lanes, beer, bottles, dirty napkins, dirty silverware, bowling shoes, dirty socks !
C. I took my daughter for her 11th birthday, last and only time. I will ever give Main Event my hard earned money and business again, not only did I spend close to $100 for them to buy the bracelets to do the bowling, billiards, laser tag, and skywalk, but during this day, there was some corporate private event that nobody disclosed with me and other patrons during that time of purchase of the wristbands. So when we were trying to play pool, we couldn’t because apparently all the pool tables were “reserved.” And on top of that it was an hour and a half wait to go bowling, after an hour I noticed there was multiple lanes open and my name didn’t even move once in the queue waiting lineup. Because the bowling alley was left unattended. And to top everything off, the laser tag is being left unattended as well multiple people, and the workers there and their teenage friends were coming and going freely in and out of the laser tag room , reeking of certain smells and substances on their body. While I have my middle-aged children, trying to enjoy a simple game of laser tag. And before we left my children once again wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so as they waited in line for 20 minutes, only to be turned away because apparently they had to make reservations, which once again nobody at the front desk while we bought the wristbands told us to make reservations for laser tag, and, also nobody in the laser tag room who was supposed to be monitoring and taking care of. told us anything like that as well. So my kids got turned away along with several others and a family that had reserved a laser tag spot weeks ago got to walk right in.
To sum all this up. Disclose and let people know about things before they waste their hard earned money to sit around in trash, get turned away for service not being provided/rendered. Quit hiring kids to run a business Management needs and should hire/ do extensive training for its workers about communication, customer service, and attention to detail. Clean...
Read moreTLDR: Me and a ton of other kids payed 20 bucks for a feild trip that was hyped up for MONTHS just to get their mood ruined because they were scammed out of playing games.
This happened a long time ago and I'm not entirely sure if it still happens to this day.
The day of our feild trip, the one we had to pay 20 BUCKS FOR was ruined because as soon as I went in there to use the game card to play games, it wouldn't work. I got confused and went to check on the card ballance checker and it said it was activated as soon as I stepped onto campus. I didn't have anything to do because not a lot of my friends were there and the ones that were there had better friends. The free areas which let u play without a card were all hogged up too.
Not to mention, the reason they were hogged up was because a elementary school was also scheduled to come at the same exact time as us for whatever reason (we were not notified about it at all).
I got bored with myself about an hour before lunch so I decided to go to the concession stand to get a slushie. They were all out. I walked away then 5 minutes later I saw a kid get a frickin slushie. Are we for real fam -_-.
Then lunch came and they took 30 minutes to hand out 2 slices of pizza. Only 1 drink machine worked because the other one was broken. As soon as I sat down everyone else was already seated so I had to sit at some random bench with the plate in my lap next to 2 kids I didn't know. The 2 kids were very understanding though so I'm not even that mad about it.
After lunch I went to ask a friend about it and she said her card didn't work either. We never got a chance to talk with staff because yet again I'm gonna bring us the fact that there was HUNDREDS of kids in there.
None of this was making me feel satisfied for being good to the horrible staff at my school for the entire year. My mood was ruined. Not to mention this was 2 days before my birthday.
This place sucks. I stayed away from this specific main event the other time I got the opportunity to go just...
