In today's society bad customer service has become all too common. We have been frequenting this store at least 4 times a month for the last 2 years and it is always something. Well today we patron this location and our meal was messed up (yet again) and like always we call them to rectify the situation only to receive the most horrible customer service ever. While speaking to the manager on the phone about what we paid for vs what we got, we were told that we in fact received our order. Not wanting to argue I asked several times to speak with the GM. When he got on the phone we agreed on a full refund but he continued to try and argue with me about what they thought we received. I went on to tell him that if he is willing to give a full refund there was no reason to further discuss those issues, they would be able to see for themselves what we got when I get there. I finally make it back up there (a total inconvenience), the GM comes out, open the box, proceed to count the chicken, and admit to another employee that we in fact did not receive what we paid for. Instead of apologizing he began to yell at my 8yr old Autistic child because he thought/felt she was recording him and tried to take the phone out of her hands. I explained she had no clue of what was going on outside of him yelling and that we do not involve children in adult business. I asked him not to speak with my child in that tone and tried to reassure him that she was playing a game and not recording. He proceeded to call me a liar and screamed he was going to roll the cameras back among other idle threats. I am very disappointed that they would treat their customers with anything other than respect. He treat my child like a thief and not only upset but scared her, it has taken an hour for me to calm her down! He made her feel like she done something wrong when she done nothing at all. With this being said, WE WILL NOT SPEND OUR MONEY AT A PLACE THAT DOES NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS. I did file a complaint with Popeys headquarters and I told them I would like for him to apologize to my baby. I also plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and whoever else will look into this issue.
Just left from up there and he assaulted his wife in front of the whole lobby smh. He lied and said none of this happened yesterday and his wife then admitted to it so he got mad grabbed her by the arm, swung her around, nd pushed her into his office while yelling at her.    Read moreUpdate (3 months later): the food and service was vastly improved from the last visit. I changed this from 1 to 3 starts (it will take more consistent visits to regain a higher rating but the recent visit moved them closer). The staff was communicating, working together and not complaining. It was refreshing to see the place clean and more orderly. The food was actually good.
Update (7 months later): We gave this location a chance after not going for 7 month hoping it would get better. Sadly, it has not.
This was the third trip to this Popeyes location in the past 2 months and it will be the last. We love Popeyes but they have messed up 3 times in a row and that was just unacceptable. The order was simply a spice sandwich with no pickle. So why is it I got a regular sandwich with pickles? The receipt was correct and the man in the drive thru read the order when he handed it to me. Again, this was the third time an order was wrong. I simply cannot understand what has happened. Sadly I raved about how they stepped up this location during the pandemic but now that they are open again inside, the drive thru has fallen down again. I have been trying to get a refund for 3 1/2 months now - or at least someone to contact me back - for a meal I purchased back on 5/25/22. I ordered two of their famous chicken sandwiches and when I got home I had one chicken sandwich and one sandwich that had 2 chicken strips instead of the chicken breast I paid for. I also received a greasy bag full of fries that never made it into the little paper holder they're supposed to put them in.

I have been in contact with their Restaurant Brands International help desk on 8 different occasions only to be told repeatedly that they will have the owner of the location follow up with me and I have NEVER been contacted by phone or email.
But I'm not surprised because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on 7/25/22 and recently learned on 8/13/22 that the business failed to even respond to them!
But all of this is ok. The Universe and karma will catch up with them eventually and they'll be out of business! You can't sustain a business with this kind of service.
