Grew up eating Raising Cane’s in Louisiana. Used to it was worth it. The chicken, toast, and lemonade were great. You got really good portions , you could barely close the lid on meals, even though it was a little pricey. Now the chicken isn’t as good, prices are absolutely ridiculous (it’s cheaper to get chicken at a dine in restaurant) and the portions are pathetic. I went through the drive thru today to get my daughter a kids combo. I asked am for ketchup, because my toddler is a ketchup fiend was told they only gave it one per meal. Got the meal home and was sorely disappointed. The chicken tenders, while they tasted okay, the tenders themselves were smaller than my finger. I just can’t rationalize spending so much money on fast food for such tiny portions.

We canes., but people need to use their judgement on food. I order three combo. N yes I got three pieces small chicken. It will not break you to put at least one to two pieces chicken in the box and you know the chicken are small. Tender are cheap when u buy them bulk. When you go to chicken express or chick-fli they alway throw extra pieces. In the box. At least you get your money worth. What I pay at canes. And the amount I got. It should of been a kids meals. You guys at canes need to do better in Katy off Mason Road.

Whether you are looking for Chicken Fingers or squirrels from the Christmas Vacation šŸŽ¬ Movie! This is the place!! Yummy and fun with crispy crunchy fries along with ice cold Dr. Pepper too. Slow down and have some real food that's not fast food!! Very nicely done āœ”ļø šŸ‘ šŸ‘

Worst customer service experience i have had in a very long time if I coild leave negative stars I would. Came in store for a pick up order. Ladies in front were great. Made order with extra sauce, don't come here often (did not realize they charge for sauce to begin with). Always check my order realized extra sauce was not in box. Asked for the sauce lady at front said we charge for that, I said well I ordered it originally, but whatever thats fine. 42 cents, gave her a $100. Had to get a manager, took forever food started getting cold as I was picking up for wife and sister. I asked for large bills because men use wallets. He brought back small bills after spending 3 minutes checking to see if the $100 was fake (weird and rude). Came back with a bunch of $10s and $1s... I was like dude I asked for large bills. Then I was like whatever just do another credit card charge. He then goes to back dkr another 5 minutes to get the $100 back. Keep in mind a nice line is moving and my foods sitting on counter and drinks are melting. This was the most absurd experience I have ever went thru on a order that was MADE WRONG IN FIRST PLACE (I HAD ORDERED A EXTRA SAUCE CLEARLY). Please do not support this business unless you want to deal with James one of the most incompetent managers I have has thr...

Food quality has dropped significantly, prices gone up just as much the other way.

When the first Canes opened in College Station a decade plus ago, it was obviously a nicer copy of Layne’s which has a loyal Aggie following. Same sauce, same ā€œboxā€ slightly different batter and fry cuts being the only difference. But they got my business and others because the portions were just as good as Laynes and the batter might be better.

But now what used to be large, meaty fingers are literally a third the size they used to be. And the meat is often over cooked bc of the smaller cuts. I now find myself paying $13 for what used to be $8 and I’m getting a third of the meat that’s honestly hit or miss in edibility.

You can’t raise prices and cut meat sizes and expect me to continue to buy from you sorry. Do one or the other.

But Canes is doing what all large restaurant chains do. They grow large based on their core values and good food then they compromise the values and their food little by little to save a dime here and there until what is left is barely recognizable.

Oh well, there is a laynes nearby, little farther drive but they still stick to their values. They’ll be getting my business from now on. Just one too many stringy, chewy...

No wonder I see other reviews about the manager. She’s very rude, she kept talking over me as if my complaint didn’t even matter. My husband works construction in a nearby neighborhood. There’s no where for us to go and eat during lunch because of covid and us living no where near this location so me and my husband decided Canes is a good option and we would just sit outside in the parking lot. We finish our meal and as soon as we were getting ready to leave an employee comes and tells me ā€œthis is drive thru parking you need to leaveā€ very rudely. I don’t know if she was having a bad day because of her broken arm or what. I told her ā€œokay we’re leavingā€ rolled up my window and started to put the trash away. She stood there by my window and I told her ā€œcan you please move away from the car so I can back outā€ and she still stood there. When I called the manager... she was RUDE and kept talking over me. Well they thought I had an attitude so that’s their excuse for their employee giving me one. I would’ve expected better service ESPECIALLY in a nice area in Katy but that’s ok I’ll go to the chick fil a right...
