I have like Schlotzsky's sandwiches for years now, that is the only reason I am giving them one star. This morning I got an email stating my birthday reward was about to expire. So I convinced my whole family to get Schlotzsky's for lunch today. I tried to present the reward and the cashier told me that they don't accept the rewards at this location. I reread the email, and it does in fact say it's only available at certain locations. But until you show up, how are you to know this location did not accept it? I have the rewards app on my phone and know now that I cannot get $7 off after visiting 7 times. There is a constant Help Wanted sign in the door the past at least year, probably longer. So they obviously have a high turn over rate with employees. I knew someone who worked there and was unhappy with management. When I told the cashier that I was unhappy that they would not accept my reward, I stated the owners name and asked if she still runs the place. She said yes and that it is co-owned. The other owner came over to the register after hearing me be unhappy and literally did not say one word to me. Not even a hello or anything. She just stood there staring at me. The employees did not have on any sort of uniform on. The cashier was wearing a hoodie from a high school. Cherry on top, was one of the last times I ate here there was a bug on the paper they give you. Before bite one I brought it up to them and stated I had a bug visible on the paper. They took it back and made me a new sandwich, so they did at least remade a sandwich, but it made my family stop eating here for many months from this grossing us out. Again, I actually like Schlotzsky's food and am upset from their service at this location. No wonder they always have a Help Wanted sign up. They also do not have any meals that include a drink or chips. Each item is separate. That makes it costly for a sandwich place. So I ask you Stephanie and Christina (owners) why would you turn away repeat customers? I did not need to be stared at with no response from Christina today. She did not even try to address the issue or even a smile or a hello. Just a stare. Your location gets one star only because the food is good when there isn't bugs...
Read moreMy husband and I frequent this location quite often. We haven’t had any issues as customers until today. I redeemed a free drink, chips, or cookie prior to ordering and the associate took my order. I presented my reward and he said the barcode isn’t working. I had 6 min left to use the reward so I asked him to try again. Again, he said it’s not working and was frustrated with me. I asked to see a manager and he was hesitant, saying it’s not going to work, until I asked a second time. The female owner came out and immediately said the internet is down around our area. I said the internet being down isn’t my fault and asked for a solution because I wanted to use my reward. If not, it will go away and be wasted. Very rudely, she asked if I have a code. I showed her the code and she stated she would give me the drink for $1. I reminded her that the reward says free. She started raising her voice about me asking how the internet being down was my fault. I told her that she being the business owner I was looking for a solution with the system not working. She continued to get angry at me. As I was eating, she bad mouthed me to all of the employees in the kitchen area. This went on for the entire time I was eating my lunch, all over a $2 drink. I’m astounded by the unprofessionalism displayed at this location, especially openly talking about customers. She did not give me the correct...
Read moreLiving off Rayford Road we would rather go to the research Forest location. The management is rude, they do not put everything they should on the sandwich to cut cost, the Sawdust Road location does not even give you a pickle that all the other locations do. We also noticed that they cannot keep help working there. Asked for hot sauce to go and management lady acted like we was bothering her and she gave us a half a tiny cup of hot sauce. From now on we will go to the research Forest location or do without. We experience the same issues a couple years ago and quit going to that location. Went in to order to go and the same lady was there and the same results. If you dine inside there are no napkins on the table thus you must ask for one, there is no hot sauce on the tables once again you must ask for it. Look at the dining picture on the site you will see an empty counter with no hot sauce or no napkins. I am a member of a local Social Media Group consisting of over 20,000 members and this will be posted in that group. The group is called Rayford...
