IF YOU ARE A YOUNG WOMAN OR WOMAN AT ALL DO NOT COME HERE!! Or I at least wouldn't come here without some male friends or a significant other. My friend and I came here last night around 1 am (a Monday night/ she was drinking and I was not as I'm sober) and we felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe with the way some of the men were treating us and the staff made no effort to ensure our comfort at all. This is our second time coming here and the first time we had a man say some inappropriate and sexual things about my friend. This time I stood up from the bar to get a snack from the vending machine and the same man from that night had the microphone from singing karaoke all night long had said out loud for everyone to hear "Shout-out to her with the cheeks". My friend and I were visibly upset so moved from the bar to go play pool. We felt more comfortable moving away from the bar but we eventually had to go back so that my friend could get another drink. This time as I'm sitting at a table waiting for her to get her drink a man walks up and tells me to smile, and continues to walk to the bathroom as I brush him off. As he comes back I feel someone literally pulling my arm!! And it's him putting a paper napkin in my hand telling me to smile again. I am trying to pull my arm away while asking him why he's touching me. My friend also asked what's wrong with him and he lets me go literally waves her off and walks away mumbling something. Again the staff saw the whole interaction and did nothing as it all played out, my friend took her last drink, we paid our tabs, and we left. I have never felt so uncomfortable in an establishment. You will usually have a bartender check in with you to make sure everything's okay, especially when men are saying vulgar things for everyone to hear or go as far as PHYSICALLY TOUCH YOU! Extremely disappointed in how the night played out and how the staff handles situations like this. Not a female friendly...
Read moreSo disappointed in this establishment. My friend and I walked into this establishment to play pool and eat popcorn, and ended up being faced with discrimination. Phabee, the bartender and also claimed to be the manager, kicked both me and my friend out for asking for popcorn. Apparently asking for popcorn is considered “Loitering” and Phabee assumed we were there to start trouble and just hang at the bar without paying for anything. I explained to him that we were there to play pool and buy popcorn but, he still claimed we were “loiterers” and threatened to call the police. “Our popcorn is for Patrons, for the ones that are PAYING customers” we didn’t even get the chance to pay, because Phabee wanted us out of there so bad. I failed to mention, we were obviously black and claimed he was also black and that he couldn’t be racially profiling us because he is also half black.....as if half black people couldn’t be racist. I am truly appalled and disgusted with Phabee and the team of people who thought he was a good fit as a bartender and also the people at the bar who saw and heard how rude Phabee was being to us, and refused to say anything about it. My friend and I never threatened anyone, uses profanity, or disrespected anyone. We were not a threat, we only wanted to play pool and eat popcorn, minus the discrimination. It was clear this was a bar for “Patrons” and we were not welcomed at all. I hope this bar has cameras and audio. This occurred on 1.21.2022 at...
Read moreUnbelievable!!! I came in tonight, was assaulted by an older guy, and then was told to leave by Fabian the bartender. I've tried to like this place, but they won't have it. Absolutely ridiculous! Be careful coming here, folks. You've been warned. For those of you that need to learn the hard way, come back to this post by a respectable military veteran and an all-around nice guy after they've subjected you to some b.s. You'll see! Edit February 2025: I felt compelled to come into Google reviews and change my 1-star review to a 3 because of the positive experience I had tonight. Monday is the best night to come into this place. Robbie remembered what I drink, even though I rarely come in here. He's easily the classiest and best bartender at Two Mules. The young man who was running bingo (the first several rounds of this classic game are FREE) and then later karaoke is a GEM! Very kind, professional, and he keeps the energy up with his song choices. I saw one or two of my friends from the Spring bar scene tonight, and it reminded me that this is still a great bar (especially on Monday nights). Free, hot, buttery, freshly popped popcorn is available, served up by the barback (I'm ashamed to admit that I don't remember this kid's name). Fabian and Barbie were nowhere in sight. I should...
