I've been really looking forward to trying this place out for a while. However, I was a little dissapointed when we went Wednesday. We went at 4:30 there was 5 of us. It started out good the waiter got our drinks and then took our food order. He was very kind but a little quiet. We didn't see him again until the food came back out I had to wave down another person from the kitchen area where they were all standing and talking to ask for water for someone at the table that had been out for a bit. He brought some and then I had to do the same again when I was out of my drink as well. We were never checked on again after that, we waited a bit because we also needed to make an order to go and nobody came back to check so yet again had to wave them down in passing to get that ordered and try and pay. Not sure if it is new staff there but definitely need to be more attentive to people at the table as we were waiting for quite some time for service after.
Not sure if something was up with the AC but majority of our party were sweating because it was so warm in the restaurant was using the menus as fans. I think they turned the AC up after because right before we left they asked us if it was starting to feel better in the building since they saw them fanning themselves.
The food was great, deviled eggs, fries, sandwiches were delicious, the Mac though I was told it's the best and unfortunately it was super mushy but flavor was great just couldn't eat it because of the texture.
Just wanted to share here because I feel it may help improve customer service if knowing how the staff works at times. Because standing in the kitchen and just looking at our table until someone waves you down to pull someone from chatting with friends probably isn't the best when your customers can see that from the...

3/2021 Update: Decided to update our heat level on a recent visit to Mo’ Hot & Cluckin’ Hot. Hot but still flavorful. We also decided to try a piece of the Pecan Chocolate Toffee and Chocolate Cream pies. Very tasty – great way to end a meal! We saw the signs for Nashville hot chicken at Tumble 22 while they were building out the location. As luck would have it, we had a chance to try Hattie B’s in Atlanta (great chicken - see my review) a few weeks before our visit. If you like Hattie B’s you should like it here.
We stopped by 3PM on a weekday. No line and they took our order right away. We both had jumbo tenders. My wife had hot and I had dang hot. We were both pleased with the heat levels. I like spicy food and this was very flavorful. I don’t think I would have wanted it any hotter...
The food was out in about 5 minutes. The tenders were hot (temperature) and very good. They were big (I would probably get 2 next time). We tried the cilantro mint and comeback sauces - both complemented the chicken nicely.
For sides we had fries (enough to share) and a small mac and cheese. Both were hot and tasty.
Prices were moderate (similar to Hattie B’s) but we felt we got value for the money.
We will be back. The tenders were great but would like to try the bone in chicken on a future visit.
Employees were very...
Read moreIt was my first time at this location. The atmosphere was very nice. There was a family sitting next to us that was super loud like they wanted everyone in the restaurant to hear their conversation loud, but that happens at any restaurant. Our server Shannon was amazing! He was very kind and talked to us like we were family. He told us about his life experiences and about his children. He took our order. My son ordered a sweet tea, and the OG sandwich with Mo Hot seasoning and a side of Mac & Cheese. I got a unsweet tea, the 1/4 Dark with Mo Hot seasoning, Mac & Cheese, and Collards. Everything was delicious. I saw he had a pray bracelet on and he spoke to us about Jesus so, when our food came I asked him if he minded praying over our food. We lheld hand and he gave the most sincere and heart felt blessing over our dinner. I was full and brought my thigh and side home. It was even better the next day. When it was time to pay Shannon gave me a hand written thank you card. That was the most impressive part of dinner I’ve never been to a restaurant where a waiter gave me a thank you card. Just WOW! I don’t know if it’s the practice of Tumble 22 to do this for their customers but I didn’t get one at the one I ate at in Cedar Park, TX. If it is, great gesture! If it isn’t Shannon is rocking and deserves to be employee of the month or a raise! He truly made my our evening nice. I had a 5 hour drive back to the Hill Country so I was leaving...
