Beyond frustrated. Took a watch that was my deceased grandfather's in for repair. They decided to update the silver band which was a light grey to a dark black without consulting us about a very major change in appearance.

Initially, I took the watch home because I was in a hurry, but returned a few days later because it simply wasn't what we asked for. We had brought it in to have a crack soldered and that was it. We explained that we did not like the changes they made and after some protest, they agreed to take it back and try to return it to its original condition. It seems that their idea of returning it to the condition it was brought to them in is to age it in random spots and haphazardly remove the black (see pictures if you want to know what it looks like now).

My favorite part was that they told us we should be happy with the work. All their customers are happy except a crazy lady they dealt with in the past. They insisted it was customer service to make alterations that fundamentally change the character of a piece. Be careful if you care about how your piece currently looks, because they don't care about your opinion and try to call it customer service.

To be clear, the watch is worn in but we liked the worn in look of it. It was not their choice to determine what the watch should look like. I wish I had taken better pictures of it before, but I am attaching the images I do have of...

Over price and rude and not very knowledgeable about jewelry as my experience buy jewelry I could tell they were not going to be any help just by simply Communicating with them. I was told a repair from all my experience that should I been any where from $15-25, would be $80. To add the item Presented to the Jeweler is worth about $200-250 based off the penny weight. Let's just say you do the math. Once again don't have a welling to assist, for one why would I walk in your store with an attitude and I don't know you. 2nd I could get the job done at that price but where I go is in Florida and I want to get the work before I go back to my 2nd home, and YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMER BECAUSE, THAT IS NOT THE WORK THAT I ASK YOU TO DO. I lost my beloved chain I bought in Dubai years ago. I was heartbroken. I just came from having a massage and saw this jewelry store and decided to go in. The customer service was amazing! I described the necklace I had. Although they didn't have one like it, the pieces they showed me were gorgeous and the highest quality that I haven't seen since Dubai. I told them I would be back with my husband since he wanted to come with me. With the holidays and a family tragedy I completely forgot to go back. Before Christmas, my husband decided to go check out the jeweler by himself and they remembered me! The owner's son showed my husband the necklace I had my eye on. It was long, however, they were willing to size it to the length I'm comfortable with. 3 days later I went to pick it up. Not only is it beautiful, I absolutely fell in love with the customer service I received. The owner reminds me so much of my own father, honest and kind. In addition to the necklace they sized for me, I bought another necklace with my birthstone. The owner found a chain that he knew I would prefer without me having to tell him. It's like he knew my taste! My husband also bought our daughter's necklace here. Absolutely breathtaking! This is the only place I will buy my jewelry from.
