Twisted Pizza & Curries — Restaurant in Texas

This place is a gem in the area! Their pizzas are great (after all, it’s in their name) but what makes this place so good is their non-pizza fare.

I highly suggest the butter chicken and the Momos. For anyone that has not had a Momo, what are you waiting for….get over here now. Momos are a Nepali dish inspired by Asian cuisine. A meat filled dumpling (also available in vegetarian) with Nepali spice. I suggest the Chili Momos which also include a good dose of heat. These things are delicious and habit forming and Twisted Pizza yields their Momo power in spades. You have been warned.

There is a little bit of table space to eat in the store, but this place shines in takeaway. Grab a pizza, snag some Momos and enjoy the delicious food...

The first time time I went, I had chicken biryani. It was my first time trying Indian food, and it didn't disappoint. Lots of spice and flavor.

My second time I ordered pepperoni pizza. I wasn't sure how good it would be, since pizza and Indian food aren't something I'd expect from the same restaurant. That pizza was so good that I had to fight the urge to go right back and order a larger size!

They're friendly up front, and the guy helped me pick a good first dish. The only reason I give 4 stars for service is because they can get so busy in the back with the food that they don't come back to the front for a while. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes before getting to pick up my pizza, but it's a small operation, so...

Their food is good but I'm big on efficiency and customer service. This place, multiple times, had me wait almost an hour when each time I was told 15-20 minutes. The worst is the girls in the front have no clue how to treat customers. They tell you it's not ready and then just watch you sit there until you get up to ask. Both times, different lady each time, don't acknowledge a waiting customer. So I'm giving it two stars because the food is good but service is terrible. By the way, when the guy in the kitchen heard me arguing with the lady upfront, he came and asked me my order and said oh its ready. Pretty much the same minute before that lady said it's not ready....
