I'm just going to tell you the WHOLE STORY. I want a burger. The last burger place didn't do it for me. Friend recommends Willies. Go to Willies. Gotta order up front. I don't like that, but it's not a reason to get upset. Few people including some cops come in after us. I don't like order at the front setups because I always feel pressured to order faster. It's not enough to complain, but I don't like it. That's why. Girl takes our order she seems kind of new, and we realize we don't pay up front. But we're not getting a buzzer. Oh we're getting a waiter. Okay whatever. Music is too loud. Permanent damage loud. We go to a more empty part of the restaurant to eat, and then the four cops sit right next to us, which if we had a waiter doing what they normally do, wouldn't happen. So we got this loud music and table full of cops right next to us, and even though they ordered several places after us, had more food, had more intricate food, they got their food first. Well, whatever. I'm sure our food will be hot. Our food was cold. Cold burger. I was too pissed off to wait 10 minutes for a waitress to come by and she's just going to nuke it anyway, which if we're microwaving burgers why am I even here? She slams the ketchup down on the table not super loud but loud enough to be weird and jarring, saying "GOTCHA KETCHUP" or something like that. I didn't ask for any ketchup. It was in a caddy right next to me. Anyone would see the ketchup right there in the caddy thing. It was so loud and weird that it interrupted the conversation I was having and startled us both. I think she was trying to make it clear that we had a waiter, doing something. Yeah she was doing something she was giving us cold burgers and being obnoxious and intrusive so that we remember that she deserves a tip. I could tell she was like extra "oh do you guys need somethin huh" like real loud, but as soon as she walks away her entire demeanor changes. I got cold food. I don't care if you're fake helpful. So I'm there with my cold burger and the cops shuffling around and eating their food, and the LOUD music, and the ketchup I didn't ask for, and I just shove the burger into my mouth quickly, so that I don't have to endure how cold it is for that long, or god forbid it get any colder than it was after sitting under an industrial fan for 8 minutes while our waitress was busy slamming ketchup on other people's tables or whatever it is that she was doing, and oh we gotta contemplate the tip situation, which is great. So we give ketchup lord 20% tip for retrieving our cold food, and making extra sure that we noticed that we had a server so that we would NOT FORGET TO TIP, and we walk out.
I should have just gone to Whataburger, In-N-Out, or even Wendy's. It would have been less loud, obnoxious, cheaper (by a lot), better tasting, and my food would have actually been hot. NO, I am not going to your website to complain. You get a bad google review. STOP GIVING...

A True Houston Gem: Willie's Grill & Icehouse Delivers the Best American Comfort! I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Willie's Grill & Icehouse in Houston a couple of days ago, and I'm still raving about it! Without a doubt, this was the best American food I've had anywhere, and it's much more than just a meal – it's an experience. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is fantastic. Willie's truly embodies the classic "icehouse" feel with a modern, lively twist. For sports enthusiasts like me, this place is a dream come true. There are TV screens everywhere you look, making it the ultimate spot to catch any game. You won't miss a single play, no matter where you're seated. The bar is top-notch, offering a wide selection of beers (that's what I prefer with American food) to complement your meal. But let's talk about the food – simply incredible! Every American delicacy I tried (baby back ribs, chicken fried steak, shrimps and ofcourse french fries) was prepared to perfection, hitting all the right notes of flavor and comfort. It's clear they pride themselves on their scratch kitchen, and it shows in every delicious bite. Willie's Grill & Icehouse is more than just a restaurant; it's a great place to sit, enjoy fantastic food, watch your favorite sports, and simply have a wonderful time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly authentic and delicious American dining...
Read moreWe always enjoy going to Willy's and the wait staff are always very professional and courteous. This night was no different as far as being courteous. However, I was very disappointed in regards to job performance. When we received our bill, we noticed that they had charged us for a fountain drink. We had gotten two glasses of water along with two entrees and a beer. We informed the server assigned to us and he took the bill to his manager and said that it would be corrected. He returned with the bill in hand and placed it on the table and said that he apologized for the mistake and that it had been fixed. After we finished our meal, I turned my attention to the bill to go ahead and issue a tip and sign it as usual.I looked at the bill and could not believe that it had not changed and we were still being charged for a fountain drink. I left a note on the bill indicating my displeasure and left the server no tip. When I go out to eat with my family, I like to enjoy my meal and fellowship with my family and leave the restaurant with a peaceful and relaxing attitude after a long day. This type of issue sours the...
