We went to this CiCis Pizza today at about 8pm (my husband and 2 kids). First, upon arrival, we thought they were closed as they had most of the chairs upside down on the tables but knowing they close at 10 on Sunday, we went in and paid for 4 buffets with 4 drinks.
The pasta noodles were mostly dried out and looked as if they'd been under the heat lamp way too long without being stirred or changed, the marinara sauce was skim coated over and looked as if it had been untouched all day and the alfredo sauce looked like gravy (thick, chunky and old). The salad on the salad bar was wilted, slimy and tinged brown. My husband asked the cashier if they had any salad fresher than that and was told "...our truck hasn't arrived yet so thats all the salad we have..." (Mind you this location is located directly behind a Walmart and within a mile of Kroger where you would think they would perhaps sent someone to buy a few bags of premixed salad or even just a couple heads of lettuce).
As we had already paid, we decided to forge on.
The pizza selection was slim (pepperoni, pepperoni with green bell pepper, ham and pineapple and pepperoni with jalapenos - good thing we don't mind pepperoni I guess).
My husband asked if they could make a vegetarian pizza with alfredo sauce and they did. Thin crust (burned edges and overly toasted bottom)... The female employee that brought it to our table delivered it with an apology about the salad.
While eating, the other employees swept and mopped around our table, picked up more chairs and flipped them upside down on the tables around us and were rolling up the mats in the game area and at the doors as if saying they were closed. This was 8:27 pm mind you.
Having said all this, how uncomfortable of an atmosphere they created by essentially closing up shop around us, an hour and a half early according to the operating hours posted on the door, and not to mention the fact that I primarily eat the salad and pasta that CiCis offers as opposed to the pizza.
We do not recommend this location (as this is our 2nd and last time to eat here - our first was almost 1 year ago and shouldn't have gone back this time but we figured it may be better now but sadly and with remorse, I have to say no).
If we want CiCis again, we'll drive to the Lewisville location where it's out of our way but we know its always good...

I’d like to share the experience that I had this evening at Cici’s on Little Rd. Let me start by saying that I haven’t been to any Cici’s in over 20 years and tonight, I was in shock. When we arrived, the restaurant was a little over half full around 8:15pm.
While serving myself on the line, I was asked by the employee overlooking the salad bar if I had a favorite type of pizza he could make for me and when I said spinach, he said he would make sure to keep it ready for me. I didn’t order my own pizza, because there was already some on the line. I went back once more and it was gone so I asked for more. A few minutes later a different employee came to my table to let me know there was more ready for me. To say my face looked like this 😳 is an understatement. She kept coming back to take our plates and make sure we had everything that we needed. My family stayed until about 9:15pm eating & chatting and the entire time, every employee was extremely polite, friendly, very attentive and kind.
The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well maintained as well. Every employee except 1 looked to be high school age! I have a few questions - where do you find these amazing kids?!? Who trains them?? Can we bring them to other restaurants with us??
In this day and age with supply chain issues and labor shortages, I have heard so many horror stories about the way servers get treated and have even witnessed shameful displays of entitlement. I want to commend the owners of this location and let them know that I was so impressed by their employees. I know it is not said enough -...
Read moreThis establishment was very dirty, the beverage fountain area was full of spilled drinks and just plain dirty. One of the slices of pizza that I took was so disgusting and soggy. When I lifted it up off of my plate, it wilted straight down and the bottom of it was soaking wet! I sat facing the area where the employee makes the pizza & all the pizza toppings are kept. I watched the female employee go over to the cash register and take payment from a group of 5 or 6 people. She then walked back to the pizza making area without washing her hands, and without putting on any gloves, and reached into the bin and scoop out handfuls of cheese & continue to make the pizza she had started prior to going to the cash register. I also watched her take a wet rag out of a small bucket at the station and wipe down the pizza station and then reached into the cheese bin and transferred the remaining cheese onto the top of a new cheese bin. That was done again without washing her hands or wearing any gloves after using a dirty wash rag. I couldn't & wouldn't eat any thing & I wanted to ask for a refund but my husband didn't want me to make a scene, so we just left. I highly recommend that you do NOT eat at...
