Our new most favorite Pizza Pie and Authentic Italian food restaurant in The Colony. The food here is inspired, creative and delicious. A perfect expression of traditional flavors sprinkled with and assortment of new and daring combinations. The first pie we tried was the Mediterranean and it was straight to die for good. On this visit we sampled a 1/2 Sally which was a new edgy combination of flavors and I have to say was mighty good. The other 1/2 was a more traditional Spinich and Artichoke Pie that really hit the spot. Poncho was our waiter the first time and his technique was flawless perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering. This time Davis, a very nice and polite young man was our waiter and his waiting style was also flawless. Our drinks never ran dry. They have a extensive menu besides just pies and a good wine list and full bar to back it up. If you've not sampled the cuisine here yet, I can assure you that you are missing out. Come up for great food, and some great music on their sound system. Oh, and try to leave room for dessert. 07/29/2022 They also have a very talented gentleman playing live music singing various 80's classics and taking request, he was very skilled with a 12 string acoustic guitar. The Pizza is as carefully made as the first week they opened. Garlic bread was fantastic kudos. Bread is still made fresh on house and you can easily taste it. Wine selection is really good. (The only improvement I could see here is if they made their own house made fruit Sangria). The Draft beers selection is the only area that has been aloud to slide without proper updating. Yuengling draft beer would be a welcome addition to replace some they no...
Read moreI'm disappointed!! I usually don't write these reviews, but today was an exception because my experience was far below expectations. I came to this restaurant a few months ago for a wedding party for my niece, and we spent lots of money. I ordered the family-style Antipasto salad and veggie-only (VEGAN)Tomato Mariana Angel Hair Pasta, and I was satisfied with the portions and quality.
Upon my recent visit, I ordered the same dishes to Go, reiterating my preference for a vegan option without Cheese. However, upon opening the box, I was disappointed to find the wrong type of pasta laden with Cheese, which was an apparent oversight of my dietary preference.
The waitress apologized and requested that the kitchen remake it as I asked for.
The manager came out, and it was apparent that he was angry. He said," We have Cheese on everything here, and you need to make it clear that you do not want Cheese," and then went on to say, "Okay," in a very demeaning way. Then he said, "The next time, you need to make it clear that you do not want cheese," and walked off.
I ordered the pasta again and was still unsatisfied; it was very dry and had little to no Mariana sauce, which was disappointing. But I didn't want to complain because I felt the manager would be confrontational. In addition to the pasta, which was below my expectations, the salad I ordered was family-style but only big enough for one person. I drove across town to visit Goodfellows and was not satisfied. The manager's disrespectful attitude and lack of respect for my dietary preferences significantly impacted my overall experience, making me feel that my business was not valued. See the...
Read moreHave to say the door weighs a TON. I’m not being crazy bf pulled nothing, I saw the sign that said to pull hard so I braced and started to pull and took two of us to get the momentum, so random! Finally made it inside, a bit of a wait to be seated but server was a cool guy. Seemed like they may have been a little short as the table next to us remained dirty our entire visit. Vibe was cool, they have kareoke and music bingo on different nights, also a reasonably priced lunch special. I opted for the ”hot” wings, we also ordered a half “Smokin’ Goodfellas” and half “Tandoori”. Cool that they allow you to split the larger size pizza into two different types. Wings were a bit over but more so the sauce wasn’t spicy at all, did have a good flavor just didn’t come close to spicy. Dough and cookery of the pizzas were on point I think we just failed in the choices of pizza. Think had we gonna traditional we would have been much happier. The bell pepper cream sauce didn’t hold up to the sweetness of the veggies or smokiness of the cheese. Veggies were charred nicely but we were sold again on a “spicy” option with the tandoori and it was far from it. I may go back and try my luck again some time. (Pro-tip: don’t sit near the door if you’re easily hot or cold. That heavy leaves a good 1 foot gap everytime someone opens it, my bf got up twice and myself twice to close it tonight as it was...
