In August, I took my brand new 2022 BMW X5 M50i here to get PPF, paid 6,500 for full car PPF, window tint and ceramic coating. Guess what, I received my car back with paint damage, and all other damages listed below.
Damaged items, Exterior and interior driver side front door paint damage, see attached photos, how ridiculous was that, wanted PPF to protect the paint but got damaged because of that.
Driver side door Interior trim piece damage, see attached photo, they broke several door trim pieces, and improperly installed door panel, resulting in my folding mirror and window control and speakers out of order.
Door panel leather damage, See attached photo Passenger side door Interior trim piece damage, the speaker cover was stretched. See attached photo
Unprofessional work, I paid for full car PPF, first time I received car, rear bumper and B-pillar is not covered, they initially claim they donāt have the cut in their computer program, but later on I asked them to check it, and then we found there is a cut there
Window tint is bad, dirt stuck on the films, uneven lines on the films, even they tried to redo it once, but still bad, and left excessive glue residue because of that
After I point out the the scratch paint under the door panel, they asked me to let them fix that, they said they have really professional worker to do so, but the fix was awful, see attached photo.
None of these issues were informed to me, if I donāt check the car myself, they were just pretend those never happened.
I donāt know how many times I took the car to their site to get the problem fixed, each time not only old issues didnāt get solved properly but they even created new issues. Later, they thought they couldn't fix the door panel issues, so they sent me to the dealer to get the problem fixed.
Even now, the paint issue hasn't been solved. Finally, after weeks of waiting and waiting the owner from FL location called me on Oct. 20th and said again they will find someone with so called professional experience to fix the issue. But a day later nobody has ever contacted me as usual.
During the entire process, nobody is willing to reach out promptly , I have to constantly ask for updates, even though most of my messages still get ignored, phone calls get ignored, I have to drive to the site to talk to someone.
Side note, I notice those some of the good reviews were commented from the employee works here.
In the end, donāt waste your time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: I would also caution anyone to look at the reviews. The positive reviews share last names w/ the owners & workers and all of them are out of Florida (where this shop came from), not the DFW area. It is sad when the company seems to be posting reviews about themselves to try and boost credibility. Seems like some shady business practices to me.
I called and discussed getting some work done on my new MY, and we decided agreed on a price and services to be done. They asked for a deposit of $1k to hold my spot on the schedule. I paid the $1k. Later in the conversation he discussed the total price again and stated that it was $xxx which was about $500 more than discussed and he stated that those are the āshop suppliesā that arenāt included in the price. I had concerns here, but moved on at that point. I was invited to the shop to take a look at one they were working on, and I pointed out some areas in the PPF that didnāt look uniform and had large gaps in the PPF and paint and the sales person seemed to act as though itās normal and no big deal. They also went to the front and printed my āinvoiceā for the services we discussed and it was still more expensive than discussed via our phone call. I called today to cancel my appointment and requested a refund of my $1k deposit based on the changed price and the quality of work I saw. They refused and stated āif we did that we would be forced to refund thousands of people their depositsā.
I know they are new to DFW and itās a satellite location from their location in Orlando, but I would caution anyone before paying anything to ensure you have a firm price and also know what youāre getting. Unfortunately they did not want to work together on this, so wanted to share the experience to help any future customers to...
