I recently had the pleasure of visiting Twisted Bar and Grill, a sports bar known for its wide selection of local and international beers and a satisfactory food menu. As a fan of sports and good food, I was eager to see if this place lived up to its reputation. Overall, my experience was quite positive, and here's why:
First and foremost, the beer selection at Twisted Bar and Grill is impressive. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or prefer popular international brands, you'll find something to suit your taste. From refreshing IPAs to rich stouts, they have a diverse range of beers on tap and in bottles. The bar staff was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending beers based on my preferences. It's definitely a great spot for beer lovers looking to try new and unique brews.
When it comes to the food, Twisted Bar and Grill offers a satisfactory menu that caters to a variety of tastes. They have all the classic bar food staples, but they also offer some interesting twists on traditional dishes. The portion sizes were decent, and the food was served promptly and at the right temperature.
The atmosphere of Twisted Bar and Grill is another highlight. As a sports bar, they have multiple large screens broadcasting various live sporting events, creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're a fan of football, basketball, or any other sport, you'll be able to catch the game of your choice while enjoying a cold beer. The bar is spacious, with plenty of seating options, including comfortable booths and high-top tables. The overall ambiance is casual and relaxed, making it a great place to hang out with friends or watch a game.
One area where Twisted Bar and Grill could improve is in the service department. While the staff was generally friendly, there were a few instances where it took longer than expected to get their attention or receive our orders. However, it didn't significantly impact my overall experience, as the quality of the food and the atmosphere made up for it.
In terms of pricing, Twisted Bar and Grill offers reasonable prices for both their food and drinks. Considering the wide selection of beers available and the portion sizes of the dishes, I found it to be a good value for the money.
In conclusion, Twisted Bar and Grill is a decent sports bar that lives up to its reputation. With its extensive beer selection, satisfactory food menu, and lively atmosphere, it's a great spot to catch a game and enjoy a cold drink with friends. While there were minor issues with the service, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the mood for a casual sports...
Read more1st of all... If I spend $150 on drinks me and my date should be staggering to our Uber. Drinks were weak and nasty. I think all the places in the colony that serve margaritas use the same cheap nasty mix. Took 20 mins for a server to show up. Ordered a couple of bottles of water while we looked at the menu. Granted I already went to the bar to get drinks because we had not seen the server. She came back about 20 minutes later to ask if we were ready (no water). Passed on the food because their gluten free listed products are fried with products that are not.(This is not gluten free. Use a separate fryer) Ordered a hookah with the ice hose. Server brought it back no ice hose. When I brought it to her attention she said "I didn't make the hookah" but you took the order with the specifications so when you grab the hookah from the back you should have noticed it was not what right and corrected the problem. The hookah tasted completely like soap. Server never even checked on the coals. Drinks literally got smaller as I ordered. Initially bought casamigoes margarita on the rocks and it came in a regular size cup. After 2 the 3rd and 4th were in the smaller cups that they poor shots in. We gave up on the drinks and just ordered shots and sipped hard seltzer. No room to dance. Literally had to take turns with othe couples because of lack of room. With as much as they charge for the bad drinks that $80 you would lose to remove 2 tables from floor would be a drop in the bucket for more room. DJ was mid. I was completely disappointed considering how much I wanted to visit the establishment from seeing it on social media. Finally I don't think any place should charge you a cover if you purchase a...
Read moreUpdated review: I noticed the owner challenged my review, and I have one thing to say: focus on improving. This establishment currently falls short of DFW standards. The service is notably slow, a sentiment echoed by other customers. I was disappointed to order fish and chips only to be told there was no fresh fish available, which is unacceptable. Additionally, I was shocked by the $45 hookah charge—especially when a nearby competitor charges $22 ($16 during happy hour)—and this price wasn’t even listed on the menu. Lastly, commenting on how I use my phone felt invasive and unprofessional. The owner’s response only worsens the situation. This place has great potential, especially given its prime location near three Marriott hotels, making it easily accessible to guests. My advice? Improve the service, stock fresh ingredients, and be transparent with pricing. Simply put: do better.
Original review:
This place has a strange vibe. They offer hookah, which seemed appealing at first, but when I inquired about it, I was quoted $45—outrageously overpriced! After some back-and-forth, the owner stepped in and suddenly dropped the price to $25. I declined, as I don’t appreciate unclear pricing or haggling in a restaurant. Prices should be transparent and presented upfront.
The food was average, nothing memorable. Service was noticeably slow, which added to the overall...
