I don't really go on to leave low reviews very often, but I just didn't want anyone to be mislead here. I just went here a couple of days ago, the service was friendly and nice. I asked for something to be reheated and the teenage server was helpful and quick... HOWEVER!... we went here because I saw how many positive ratings it got, and this did not live up to expectation or reviews whatsoever. I lived in Thailand last year and ate in many different regions. I eat Thai food in America ALL the time. This honestly was some of the worst Thai food I have ever had. The pad Thai didn't taste like Pad Thai, it didn't have lime, or peanuts and tasted like the flavors came straight out of a generic bottle.... the Green Curry wasn't spicy at all and it was SO SALTY I COULDN'T EAT IT... my husband tasted it and said it was so salt it felt like it was burning his mouth... and when I notified the waiter of it, he made an excuse, mildly apologized... but still had me pay for it even though I couldn't eat it and left almost all of it in the bowl (and it came to me at room temp)... I paid $40 for 2 thai teas, pad thai, pumpkin curry and a small side of Green Curry + tip... I couldn't finish anything I ordered - all the flavors were off. I am really sad to leave this review to be honest, I get that they are a local spot and they need business to keep going - but I hope that they take their food a little more seriously if they are going to keep...
Read moreAfter reading all the good reviews online and seeing all their great service awards, I was sincerely disappointed with my experience last night. My husband, 3yo son and I showed up extremely hungry to a moderately busy restaurant. We were quickly seated and given menus, but that's where any decent service ended. It took over an hour to receive our pot sticker appetizer: Every other table who came in after us received their food before us. Not one employee came to our table till the 45min mark when the young host came out and mumbled our order was placed on priority and would be out soon. The pot stickers and sauce were decent. Our Pad Thai came out about 15min later and was The blandest version of the dish we've ever had. All I could taste was tofu with a hint of onion. We finished our meal simply because we were hungry and couldn't wait another hour for it to be remade. Our waitress finally came to our table for the first time in an hour and asked how it was. When I told her it was really bland, she suggested I try curry dishes next time. If I liked or wanted curry, I would have ordered it. Normally I am a very good tipper, I've worked in restaurants in the past. This is the first restaurant I haven't left a tip at on years, but my husband couldn't even get a drink refill and no one checked on us throughout the meal. This place is too costly for the small, bland portions and...
Read moreAll 3 of us have had the craps for the past 2 days. There were house flies everywhere. This food is mediocre! Stay far away. If you know what real, delicious Thai food tastes like, you'll be especially disappointed. I'm from Ft Lauderdale and there is actually competition between restaurants there, so they have to be good to get customers. This woman only has her business because there is no competition and most locals don't know good Asian cuisine. Drunken noodles were so bland with very little basil flavor. They were caked together. The woman cut my boyfriend's portion of noodles/veggies in half just because he added on seafood, and paid extra money. He brought that to her attention as a suggestion for future customers but she said it was because she doesn't have access to many ingredients due to her location, but that has nothing to do with portion size. She's just cheap. The seafood was very salty and rubbery. The spring rolls were obviously frozen and the dipping sauce from a jar. I cant believe that I paid 11.25 for a plate of old noodles, frozen veggies, and jarred sauce. I could have bought all the fresh ingredients for that and cooked up 3 delicious...
