Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in The Woodlands

I absolutely love the food at Chicken Salad Chick! I always visit the one on College Park. They have 12 different types of chicken salad to choose from, but my #1 favorite is "Dixie Chick" which is a simple "retro' chicken salad with a lot of minced onion....it's freaking addicting! 😊. I also love their salad called "Cranberry Kelli" which has a great pop of sweetness with the plump dried cranberries, as well as the "Fancy Nancy" which contains diced Fuji apples, chopped pecans & juicy seedless grapes. All the salads I've tried are delicious, but those 3 are standouts to me. I usually have my sandwiches on a fluffy croissant or simple white bread. Their soups are great too .....I usually get tomato soup or the baked potato soup. (The tomato soup is very comforting and tasty, although sometimes it's a little too tangy , but that's just my opinion.). There's only 1 thing I dislike about this place.......and that's the country music they always have playing. I loathe country music with all my heart, I just hate that type of music.....but.....I love their food so much here, I eat here anyways. Also, their customer service is always warm and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet......and, if unlike me, if you love country music, then you'll feel like you're in...

I love this place. I do not have one near me but when I do go near one, I make it a point to stop and eat there. I got take out at the Pasadena TX. location 2 weeks ago and they never asked me if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and pickles in my sandwich. But when I stopped to eat at the Woodlands TX location, the young lady did ask me if I wanted lettuce and tomato and I really appreciate that she asked because I do love my sandwich with lettuce and tomato. So please ask if we would like those when we go eat there or go through the drive through. If I had to say something negative about the Chicken Salad Fancy Nancy, which is my favorite, I would say to add more grapes to the sandwiches. Because on my visit in Pasadena, TX, my sandwich did not have any grapes in the chicken salad. And the one in the Woodlands, there was only 1 grape in my sandwich. So don't hold back and limit the grapes please. I love the broccoli salad, it is so delicious!!! I love the cookies, they are so delicious. The kosher pickle on the side is a nice treat as well. I have been wanting to go here for so long and my husband took me today. I was not impressed. The guy running the cashier needs to learn basic customer service skills. The way he treats customers is disgusting, disrespectful, and disappointing for your business. He was condescending and rude to the point that I didn’t even order for myself I asked my husband to order for me. We sat down not far from the counter. A senior couple walked in and the gentlemen greeted them pleasantly and with respect. Next we watched as a group of young POC women walked in and his attitude was once again condescending, irritated, rude, and what I would describe as leaning towards racist. The food was okay needed more seasoning, more onion, salt, pepper. The greens and veggies were very fresh and crisp. The buttercream cookies were good.
