The workers seemed nice but the food was terrible! My husband and I went there after just getting in from a 13 hour trip from Tennessee (me being almost 8 months pregnant) and we normally get of course burgers from what a burger but this time we decided to get chicken sandwiches cause that is what I was really craving and me being pregnant it is hard to eat burgers from heartburn sometimes so we changed it up..anyway.. we get home (we live literally 2 minutes down the road at harpers retreat) and sit down to eat our sandwiches expecting them to be amazing and not only were they fried instead of grilled, but also looked like they have been just sitting there for a while because my husband took a bite and said it wasn't even crispy at all more like a bit soggy and the lettuce and tomatoes on both of them were wilted and hot and the bun even looked gross. Obviously after the day we have already had we were not about to go back there especially living on the third floor. I threw mine away because I cannot eat it (not supposed to have fried or too greasy/fatty food yes even before the pregnancy) and of course he ate his so he wouldn't completely waste our money. Even being so close we normally dont go to this location and probably never will again after that. Especially after having to wait for a while to even get our order then it being...
Read moreI'm assuming the person taking my order was the Mgr as there was about 4 workers on their lunch break in the sitting area. I moved aside to let another couple placed their order. As I was waiting next to another couple who were in front of me, another person was called to the front to pick up their order. That person saw one of the workers in the back not wearing gloves. Then says "I don't want my hamburgers if that worker was not wearing gloves". Mgr was still taking orders and then turned around to go see the accused person who was not wearing gloves. More people were coming in and the line starts getting longer. No one was a back up to take orders. 2 of the 4 workers who were taking lunch breaks come up and one asks if we had been helped and then asks the other worker if she was going to help out. She says, "I'm not getting paid if I help out". And both walk away. Mgr seem to be more worried about the customer's complaint than about the long line. But the 2 workers need to find other employment if they can't step up and show good customer service. I waited over 15 minutes for #1 order. After my number was called, the Mgr hands me my order (didn't even apologize for the long wait or thank me for coming in) proceeds to take the new order of hamburgers to the person who complained. All awhile no one was taking orders and...
Read moreI’ve been patronizing this restaurant since its opening and always got hot delicious burgers but the last 2 visits one being 12-09-2015 and the other a few weeks back was terrible. I believe the staff is not making there burgers to order my burger yesterday was barley warm I noticed the cheese was not even melted when I examined the burger by removing the bun I noticed the patty was very dry another indication it was not freshly cooked. Myself and wife look to go to eat a fast food burger because it a treat and since “Whataburger” always had and claims to make them fresh unlike some of the other chain burger restaurants. We brought this up to the manager she was kind and signed our receipt to get a free meal next time we come in I explained this was not the first time and questioned there quality practices. I’m going to contact the corporate office and bring this to their attention and give “Whataburger” one more chance if it happens again I’m done patronizing with the chain. If the manager and cook get a chance to read this comment remember your serving the public and some of us do measure your quality to making what “Whataburger’s” advertises a hot and fresh burger when...
