Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in The Woodlands

Quiet and Tucked away, this Starbucks kind of got tossed by the wayside when the new toll fly over from the 45 to the 242 was built. It is literally in the middle of everything but yet in the middle of no-where. You have to know it is there, to go there...odd but a true statement. It is on the opposite side of the parking lot from Lowes . It shares a building with Tide cleaners so I guess you could multi-task if you timed it right.

There aren't as many outside tables as some other locations but it's a bit noisy anyway. When you enter it is a different setup. There is a large bar height table with tall chairs you can probably sit ten people at. Then there are at least 5 tables for 2. This store is rather long and narrow by Starbuck standards but the offerings are just as reliable. They have a drive Thru.

I don't know what it is about Starbucks but they have a hard time keeping up on cleaning off tables and the condiment area and taking out the garbage. This location is no different. I went in the other day, stood at the till while a girl cleaned the counters right across from me....it wasn't until someone else came in did she notice me....she did apologize.

I absolutely hate the fact that Starbucks has unisex bathrooms. I will never back down from this. PC does not keep the p off the seat or the seat down (where it naturally should reside...).

The past year I have gotten the impression that this establishment is not as professionally run as the other locations in my area. Twice I have been asked to leave my seat, in the middle of a conference call, to make room for a staff meeting. I didn't mind before, because meetings need to happen. Today was the last straw...I was in the middle of work and abruptly tapped on the shoulder and asked to take my stuff and leave because "we are having a meeting and people can't be in the building". This was 11:00 am. We were told to leave as they held the door open, no time to collect our things appropriately. We just shoved things in our bags while they rushed us out. I tried to put my books and computer away, but the manager standing there appeared annoyed and asked if I needed help, to hurry me outside. No explanation, no apology for the inconvenience, other than that, everyone was standing outside by the door, confused, annoyed, and disappointed. And then they locked the door.

I understand things happen, but man, the only appropriate scenario to justify rushing customers out of the door in that manner is a fire. And if it was anything else of an urgent nature, a little explanation would have eased the frustration of your customers. I'm glad that happened because now a few of us are at the new location down the street and it is nice. I'll definitely be coming here...

My husband and I were in the area and we stopped off at a starbucks across from Harper's reserve only to see a sign that said closed at 5pm. It was 5:50pm so we went to the next closest Starbucks on the gps. Upon arriving we saw 5-7 Starbucks employees standing just inside the door and the lights out. My husband looped around and saw a hand written paper on the drive thru menu saying that they would reopen in the morning. We were confused. Do all the Starbucks in the area close at 5pm? Is there one that stays open later? My husband signaled to the the group of employees in hopes of finding a Starbucks that was open. The employee gestured fairly rudely as if to say "what do you want?" Then they all filed out of the store towards their cars. My husband asked are all the stores closed at 5? An older woman hastily responded "I don't know about other stores, I only know about my store. We are out of product." She then quickly walked away. I understand having a rough day and being out of product, however in retail and customer service you can at least be polite. And the "out of product" excuse loses its validity when every one of the employees is walking out with 1-2 Grade or Venti beverages in...
