CONS: I booked and paid for 2 high teas having received my confirmation. Upon showing up for my reservation I was told they did not have a reservation for me. They kept asking if I was someone else and making me feel awkward. I showed my confirmation email and said they would set up a table. There was 1 tea table already set up however they began to set up a random table close to the door where the line forms to order for regular customers. We waited and I finally noted that the other party had not shown up and we should be allowed to just take that one instead of standing around waiting. Finally we were seated. We had to wait for a really long time to get our first tea course - sandwich and salad. However we received NO beverage until after we had already completed this course. Once they did prepare a water for us (no tea yet) we could see them just pour the water directly from the faucet into the glasses. Overall the service was very poor. One person was working the hardest to get everything to everyone in the beginning but we had to wait a really long time. They only provided 1 plate with the first course which we had to use for our tea sandwiches, desserts and scones which was not pleasant. There was so much dressing left from the salad on the plate that it was impossible to keep them separated and we had to basically eat it all by hand. We were offered after our extremely long tea that we could look over a list for one more tea choice - however they never came back to ask us what we wanted. We did think the tea was really good once we got it. I have been to tea all over the US and I have to say that this place did not fit the bill for what the price was. Very disappointing. Although this may be a set-up thing, we were able to see them put all the food together through their glass case. We saw them pull out the jam from the huge jars purchased and even saw someone licking her finger after taking some jam out. This is also how we saw them provide tap water to us. PROS: Beautiful table set-up. Food was not bad but they do put goat cheese on a lot of their menu items so if you are adverse to this cheese you will not be able to eat a large portion of the items. Overall I do not recommend this establishment for tea with the price point they are providing. It would be better to just go in and order your food and sit down since the food quality is the best part of...

I first want to say this place is absolutely adorable especially in our Woodlands neighborhood. The idea of authentic high tea with the cozy atmosphere should equal a beautiful experience. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the service or lack of customer service, I should say. I brought my daughter here this morning to spend a little quality time before she went back to school. As we walked into there this morning, we were greeted by an individual that seemed like we were more of a bother than an actual customer. We noticed that all the tables were reserved which of course they were probably preparing for a small party so we sat in the little corner that was available. As I looked around for menu, the host explained that all the menus were next to the Cash register and I could go grab one as I looked at her shock, She decided to walk over there and bring it to me.. at that point, my daughter whispered to me, could we please go as she felt uncomfortable. I decided to stay because I wanted her to experience the tea there. As we walked to the cash register to order, I tried to start a small conversation and again she seemed like she was more irritated than trying to help us. Once we got finished with our order, we sat back at the table and waited for our food. You could break the awkwardness with a butter knife. Once we received our tea, coffee and blueberry scone we stayed an additional 10 minutes with no one saying anything to us. We decided it was just such an uncomfortable experience that we left our tea and coffee there and just walked out of the door. Everyone has a bad day, but unfortunately, we will not be back to this establishment, but...
Read moreI would like to recommend this great tea room. My visit today was a first for there afternoon tea service, however I have had the lunch service which was equally well prepared. You must make a reservation to enjoy this great afternoon tea experience but it's well worth it. Mrs. Nasim Bell has created a truly enjoyable space to share a special tea experience for everyone. The tea room offer's dozens of tea selections that will appeal to a majority of tastebuds. The service is served in a true English manner with fine china, to drink and eat from, with fresh flowers that add to the experience. The menu selections are varied depending upon the season but are sourced from local producers. The savories included a chicken salad, smoked salmon, a brie and nectarine with a fig jam, also a cucumber sandwich with a twist. The desserts were equally delicious and satisfying with the strawberry pavlova that was a true joy to eat. The scones were offered in 4 different flavors. I tried the cranberry and orange. The scones were baked perfectly and taste just like scones should. The clotted cream is made in house, an served as a perfect combination with a variety of jams that are offered. I tried 3 tea flavors that are all loose leaf no bags here!. I enjoyed them all. The loose leaf teas can be purchased for in home brewing. I can honestly say this location will become my go to location for my tea fix. Thanks to Mrs. Bell for making my afternoon tea experience a true joy. I highly recommend this location not just for afternoon tea but for lunch as well. The shop offers both indoors and outdoors dining. Check out there website it will provide further...
