My son and I had some errands to run. We decided we would go through the drive-thru at Panda Express. I decided to get beef with broccoli my son had orange chicken beef with broccoli and sesame chicken. I do love Chinese food however, I have learned a great lesson. Going through a drive-thru does not give you a visual of what you're going to get. Beef in my beef with broccoli was so dry the rice that was under my beef with broccoli was so dry and tasteless. Everything was tasteless. For my son's three choice meal and my bowl it came to $29. I do believe that everything that was handed to us had been sitting for quite some time. My son's food was dry the only thing that he said tasted okay was the orange chicken. Everything else in his three choice entree meal was extremely dry. And my beef with broccoli on top of brown rice was absolutely sadly disgusting. It's one thing to look at a picture of what you're going to choose to eat but it's another thing to get it and it is beyond repair. I will never go through Panda Express again I should have gone back and gotten my money back. I am highly disappointed I feel that nobody working that day was taking any pride in what they were serving the people that were going through the drive-thru. And that's not fair because if it wasn't for the people that goes through the drive-thru or go in nobody there would get a paycheck. I was very skeptical about going there in the first place and now I know why. Whomever is in charge of the Panda Express in River oaks you need to speak with your employees. They honestly served myself and my son extremely dry old food and it should not be that way. I have been in the food industry for many years and in all honesty what my son and I received from Panda Express that day was beyond serving expectations. Everything should be tapped every 2 hours and made fresh. Our food was not and I'm sure that we weren't the only ones that were served shoe leather along with crispy Brown dry rice. I will never ever return to Panda Express I will also and have shared the experience that my son and I had with your drive-thru food. Do the employees think that because you get it in a bag through a window and drive away that it's okay to just serve people what's been sitting there for hours and everything is going to be fine because they believe with their bag in their vehicle only to get home and find that what is in the bag is a huge disappointment. Something needs to be done. As I said the food should be made fresh every 2 hours unless you run out before 2 hours it should be made fresh immediately again and it should be tempt whatever is sitting there for God knows how long that food should be tempt and be at serving temperatures 165° f. I am extremely disappointed and I will never ever ever ever ever return. I truly hope that someone higher up reads this because they need to know that the employees there don't care but, I do I work hard for my money. And if I wanted to give it away on that day I would have given it to a family and need a food for their family at a grocery store. I definitely would not have given it to Panda Express who truly loved taking my money but did not love to follow rules of how fast food or any type of food should be treated meaning cooked kept at correct temperature not over heated and dry should have been moist and tender and delicious. Ours WAS NOT I WON'T BE BACK. SO SAD...
Read moreIt was about 9:15pm, they close at 10pm. If your still open and taking orders and money from customers. I deserve the same courtesy as everyone else if it was durn the day. I understand the store was getting ready to close but it wasn't.
I understand you ran out of some foods, I still chose what was left, I chose the Brown rice, Orange chicken and some other kind of Seed Orange chicken. The brown rice was Hard, cold, nasty and it was very Uncooked.
The orange chicken looks like shrimp and not chicken, and because I am hungry I will eat the orange chicken, but The brown rice which is a big platter, I can't eat that, It's uncooked, like really.☹️
I can hear the rice hit the plate, that is how hard and loud it is. I am very disappointed with my food tonight. I just got off work, you close at 10pm and I showed up in the drive thru at 9:15, 9:20pm, Whatever time it was I deserve better service then this. I promise, I am sure you would complain as well, if your spending your money and the service is bad, you already don't have what I wanted. You are human just like everyone else, just working at this location.
**Update, after writing my review, No wonder. Do they even look at their reviews themselves, maybe they will learn something, My dog doesn't even wanna eat the Rice. And it's clearly people durn the day time don't get better services. I'm surprised its a 3.6 star rating...
Read moreDefinitely won’t be returning to this location. Placed a order in drive thru that included my toddlers cub meal with Teriyaki chicken. Proceeded to pay at the window, to be told that the chicken had to be cooked & I needed to park in spot 1. I asked the young lady to please include Teriyaki packets, she assured me she would. While trying to park in spot 1, there’s a employee parked there appears to be on break. So I parked to the closest spot near the door. Waited 20m, with no apology or concern. The girl hands me my order & walks back in. I check the bag, No teriyaki packets. I go back in the drive thru line, wait & was ignored once I made it to the window for a few. The same young lady returns, i say “Well, I did not receive the Teriyaki packets..” She loudly says “UGH” grabs the packets, smash them in my hand & says in a snarky tone, “YOU COULD HAVE ASK NICELY, HAVE A GOOD DAY!” I did not stoop to her level for many reasons, I just drove off & headed home to only see my sons order included rice not chow mein with these HUGE pieces of chicken & a drizzle of teriyaki sauce. When I say, I will not be back to this location. It’s a mess, terrible customer service. Spend your...
