This is by far the worst Sonic I have been to in my life, and I doubt I will ever be a customer to this chain again. I manage a customer service business myself, and if ANY of my employees acted as these employees & manager did to one of my paying customers, I would make certain that customer knew the next visit is absolutely on us! So, I ordered online on the Sonic website. I paid for my order on the Sonic website. The website states for me to go to the location hit the red button and say I ordered online and my name. The site says my order will take 5-7min. I walk across the street to the Sonic location (3min). I hit the button on the ordering system, and someone said, "Welcome to Sonic". I said: "I'm here to pick up my online order, my name is Khalid" and then complete silence. The running orders out to cars, goes to one car with an order, then another car to get money for an order then goes back inside. He comes back outside to make another delivery and speak to the car he took the money from then back inside. He then came back outside to give the car he took the money from's food, that's when I stopped him and asked: "how long will the online order take?". He said: "I don't know let me check". At this point I had been outside for 15minutes. A couple walked up and asked how the ordering system works to which I helped them, and they decided to just finish their order online. He comes back outside drops off another order then goes back in (not a word). He comes back outside to get money for an order goes back in (not a word). He comes back out and I am like: "Hey... any updates?" he looks and says "nope", goes back in. At this point I am wearing the frustration on my face as this is over 20 min of waiting with no clear answers. When he comes back out, I say: "Sir... what is the use of ordering online if I have to wait for this long" he said: "You ordered on the app?" I said: "No... online" he said: "Did you check in?" I said: "I don't know what that is", he said: "You gotta check in on the place you ordered your food". I said calmly: "So you are telling me I need to go back across the street to my work computer and check in and come back over here to get my food and I am right here?". He said: "If that's where you ordered from" with no emotion or empathy or compassion whatsoever. I walked back across the street to find the order and there is no place to do this "check-in". I found the number to Sonic and called immediately. The 1st time I called the phone rang someone picked up and hung up on me. The 2nd time I called a woman picked up and I asked to speak to the manager. I told her about my experience, and she said: "Yeah, we have your order right here", and proceeded to run down the list of things I ordered. I said, "well I am sure its ice cold by now" (this is 28min after ordering at this point), she said: "no, its sitting here under the heat lamps". I could only breathe heavy because my hunger and frustration were at an all-time high, she recognized my frustration and said: "Well if you want a refund, you can hit the button and it will take you to this site where you can tell them etc.". I said: "No, I just see the customer experience means nothing to you all, I will follow up with the manager I know in person next time she comes across the street to my business". I walk back across the street (32min after ordering at this point), hit the red button and when prompted said: "I am here to pick up the online order I just called about". I was asked my name, I stated my name, and was told: "It will be right out". I waited another 6 minutes. The guy who was ignoring me and told me to go back across the street comes out smiling. He hands me my food and sarcastically says: "You have a nice day". I get back to my desk and (wait for it)... my food was cold! SO DAMN ANGRY, SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT, NEVER AGAIN!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!...
Read moreWent through drive thru. 6 years since the last visit. Wasn't thrilled. Ordered the chicken wraps, cheese baja, and bbq. They were hot, but the tortillas were soggy. I wonder if they just warm the wraps in a microwave. Big difference if you were to put them on a griddle or grill top. The bbq sauce was very tangy for my liking, and the baja was salty. If you know my reviews, I am sensitive to salt, so....May be my pallete. The hickory cheeseburger was sloppy, sauce was also too tangy, and there was too much of it on the burger. The fries were cold. Im not sure what the average wait time is in the drive thru, but compared to others, we felt we waited long enough to at least get hot or even warm fries. When we came, there was only one car ahead and just us. I will say that when we drove back around, they did replace the fries for hot ones.We also ordered the cheesecake master shakes. Whoa!!! They have been known for their tasty, thick shakes, but I'm not sure what happened to these. They had too much of a cream cheese flavor. It was so overpowering that I did not finish it. Horrible! I LOVE cheesecake shakes....I prefer The Counter in downtown highland or even Culver's and Dairy Queen were better than this. Read moreI came here to eat a number 10 ultimate chicken sandwich and my brother ordered a limited edition ultimate chicken club sandwich. The problem is that I received a number 9 which doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes and costs less. My brother received his chicken sandwich without bacon which was the main difference between the ultimate chicken sandwich and the one that is limited edition. We usually don't like to complain because we don't have high standards for fast food since mistakes happen but, just to make sure we weren't in the wrong we asked if the number 10 came with lettuce and tomatoes and she acted like the question bothered her and said it didn't come with that when the website and picture both clearly show that there is lettuce and tomatoes on it. When we asked about the limited edition ultimate chicken club not having bacon she said that they didn't sell that item. We left it at that but, they definitely charged us for it which is a higher than the price of the regular ultimate chicken sandwich. The attitude problem of the employee and them getting the order wrong is what made me give them...
