It seems that just about everyone that works here is always in a bad mood and is EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I've even said about it to one of the managers and it just hasn't changed. I've been coming here for almost two years and the food is great everytime but the people working here are just always rude and it's like they don't know how to talk to another person. Life's not going to be kind to these people if this is how they want to treat there customers. I'm done giving my money to this place which is sad because I live one block away from here but I'd rather just drive up to In N' Out than or even across the street to McDonald's than have to deal with this anymore. Like I said though I'm not complaining about the food, just the people.
*EDIT 6/8/24 So after leaving this review i was sent a $25 gift card from their corporate offices which made me feel a little better about the whole situation but when i went to use it in the drive through on 5/26 the gift card for some reason just would not work. After sitting there for about fifteen minutes in the drive thru the card would not register that anything was on it and they told me to just order with the app. I left there beyond annoyed that day. Today, 6/8 i attempted to order food using the app and when to pay for my order i put in the gift card number and it brought my total down to $0 and i thought "hey this actually works, how great" but when I pressed "PLACE ORDER" i got an error message that said
"Apologies, there is an issue with the contents of your order. Please call this location directly to place your order.400"
So I did that, I called the location I was trying to order from and they told me that they were not allowed to take orders over the phone. Ok, weird but i can understand that. I walk over the block from my apartment to this location and try to explain what had happened. They ask "how much is on the gift card" I reply "$25, its straight from the corporate offices and i just got it maybe a little over a week ago" the person working calls his supervisor and is told how to manually enter in the gift card details. I can see him inside attempting to swipe the card but its not doing anything. After waiting another few minutes he explaining to me that he can manually enter it, which i already knew. I also show him how the app wants me to call to place my order, he seems a bit confused by this. They have me place my order which included 1 Southwest Black Bean Burger 1 Crispy Chicken Sandwich 2 Corn dogs 1 Order of Cheese Curds 1 Pawbender on the app the total was $22.85 When I told them my order they gave me a different price of around $33 Why did it cost more to order food in person and not through the app? I asked the guy working why it was suddenly so much more for the EXACT same order to which he responded with "Well you can take off a few items if you want I guess"
Just WOW I told them to not worry about it and i threw the gift card in the trash and walked back home in absolute disappointment. I'm just kind of speechless. Not mad, just extremity disappointed. I've talked this place up for so long but after today I really don't think that I'll ever be going back to a Good Times again in my life. The level of incompetence between their app, their staff and as well as what would seem their corporate staff as well i just sincerely hope i don't ever have to deal with such mismanagement again. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2 STARS) Honestly disappointed to be giving 2 stars to any Good Times as I have gone to many and nearly always enjoyed my experience. However tonight was rather disappointing. I was with a group and we all ordered custard in waffle cones. (To clarify, more than half the group ordered vanilla and the other 2 had the custard of the month. Not a difficult order) all seemed to be going well as they took the order and told me to move forward. I waited in line 10 minutes behind a single car. Understanding that they must have had a large order I took note of how much food they got, between the time they handed money through the window and the time they left they received exactly one shake. 10 minute delay for a single shake? Frustrated but still being understanding I moved up to the window. The girl at the window took my money and started handing out custard in sugar cones, keep in mind I ordered waffle cones. I was disappointed to have gotten sugar instead of waffle cones but to be fair they did still charge me for what I got, not waffle cones.    Read moreWow. Had a terrible experience with Marco G. a cashier. Ordered a veg head burger with special sauce meal costing over 9$. Came home and the burger being the most skimpy burger with a tiny slice of wilted lettuce, 1 small circle of onion and a small dot of mayo and mustard.
Took it back with receipt and burger. Spoke with same person who was our cashier in drive thru and he was automatically rude and annoyed. I stated that the sauce was missing and showed him the pitiful state of the burger, I also stated i thought I had ordered cheese. He then rudely and quickly answered that no you didn't order it with cheese and I was wrong it doesn't come with cheese originally. I told him that he was acting some what rude and he answered me in a kirt manner that fine the new one will be right out.
I got the new one and he quickly handed my bag to me and said "heres your new burger and yeah...." and shut the window.
New burger came with the smallest scrape of sauce on top and fresher veggies, but it was now slathered in mayo and no mustard was on it.
I am now not eating the new one because with his behaviour I don't trust him not spitting or messing with the new one in some way.
So disappointing as I've literally been coming to this location since high-school and this was the worst experience I've ever had with them. Wasted money and unpleasant experience with Marco g. And...
