Wow!!! I've been a loyal customer to Taco Johns for over 25 years!! Taco Tuesday has been a beloved family tradition of ours! I am so bummed that Apple Grandes are only seasonal now and when I saw that they had them at this Thornton location I loaded up the entire family and we headed out to indulge. Upon ordering, the employees couldn't hear us becasue they were laughing at one another. We repeated our order 4 times and pulled forward to pay. Due to the employees constant giggling, we misheard them and pulled up to the wrong window. (and there were no employees to take payment at the 1st window anyway) They made it VERY clear how annoyed they were with us by saying something along the lines of, ".......since you decided to pull up to the wrong window....." I looked at my husband in disbelief. When the girl with curly hair (I believe her name was Anise or Amari or something similar I couldn't see her name tag but another employee told me) came back to give us our receipt and debit card she flung the receipt at my husband, it fell to the ground and she quickly turned away and shut the window. By this point I was beside myself and when she came back with our Apple Grandes (in a filthy bag coated in a thick sticky substance) I asked her if there was a problem and I didn't appreciate being treated so poorly. She laughed out loud and responded, "That's funny, and if you litter again I will not serve you!!" then hastily closed the window on us and childishly waved goodbye from inside... We honked our horn and motioned for another employee to come to the window. We asked to speak to a manager and they informed us that there was not a manager on duty.
I highly recommend hiring a responsible, professional, and kind shift leader to watch over these disrespectful individuals that are serving your customers at night. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable! I am...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO I would. I got one of their burritos and specifically asked NO TOMATOES as my husband is allergic to them. Well I get home and not only was the rice and meet stale/ old their was tomatoes in them!!! After going into the ER I return the following day to express my frustrations. Well well well I had recognized cashiers voice off the bat so when we pulled to the window she claimed she remembered the order and that I didn’t ask for no tomatoes (BULLSH!!t what happened to the customer always being right?) so low and behold I have my receipt (DUH! I’m not going to waste my time and be a Karen for no damn reason you could’ve killed my husband!) so of course on the receipt NO TOMATOES. Okay so after that? NO RESOLUTION I asked if we could just have a refund after that and NOPEEE supposedly the supervisor only comes in once a month and they have no authorization whatsoever to help take care of THEIR mistake . He's abrasive, sarcastic, rude, condescending when you ask a question, rushes you through your order without fully listening to your requests, and then puts the blame on the customer when the food comes out wrong. Thinking about asking for a water cup? He'll give you one, with an attitude of course, and then FOLLOW you over to the soda machine and WATCH you fill up your water cup. I get there are dishonest people in this world, but don't treat me like a criminal if I haven't done anything wrong. Learn to be subtle. Glance at my cup when you bring me my messed up order you rushed me through or swing by and ask how my food is/was and glance at my cup then.
I don't know how this clown has worked here for so long, but his attitude and the way he treats customers needs to drastically improve or he needs to be let go.
