Worst experience ever.....warning: thieves Please read all reviews before giving this place a chance.......I wish I would have...they stole $52 from me...
If you order delivery, it will arrive cold and they will not offer to remake and/or redeliver a fresh hot pie.
My GF and I were staying at The Lodge Hotel, just a few blocks away, and on a rainy day decided to have our dinner delivered so we wouldn't have to go outside. So, I ordered $44 worth of food at Waypoint Pizza; we ordered a hot pizza, a hot cream of mushroom soup and a salad. The following were delivered; cold pizza, cold soup and a half of a salad.
I called the restaurant and said that all of our food arrived cold. The lady on the phone said "well you did order delivery, so it won't be hot" so I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she is the owner...wow
So I asked her again...."you mean to tell me that you don't offer hot delivery? Don't you own hot pizza bags to keep the food hot? Especially on a cold rainy day like today?" And she replied that they don't get guarantee hot food on deliveries, and if I want a new pizza I will have to come and pick it up myself.....in the rain. (Seriously?)
(We are from Midwest and winters drop below zero some days, and we can always get a hot pizza delivered without any issues, and if we ever have an issue they will fix it asap and redeliver. Or refund money...depending on the situation (which rarely happens)
Long story short, I walked to the restaurant with my girlfriend in the rain and brought back all of the food that was delivered untouched, and asked for a refund. The owner was already gone (not even 15 min after she hung up the phone), and the manager was rude and refused to refund the money. He kept saying I'll make you a new pizza and I'll have it delivered but will not refund the money, even though I said I just want my money back. (I told him we already asked for redelivery and were told no-carry out only, so just please refund the money).
Manager called the owner and she told him that we can not have a refund, so whether we take our original food back with us or not, they will only remake the pizza, but nothing else. And no refund......... (Still in shock from the way we were treated)
Basically, we didn't get our money refunded, or another pizza. So I paid ($52 incl the tip) to walk in the rain with food we couldn't eat and paid for a second dinner next door (which was delimited Italian)
Also, the cooks were speaking in Spanish and using profanity and vulgar inappropriate language, including sexual remarks towards my girlfriend, they didn't think we could understand but we do speak multiple languages, including Spanish (which isn't our native tongue but we are fluent). But due to all the kids around eating, we ignored them, even though they all laughed about what they said including the manager, slime bag.
These owners don't care about their customers, or care to offer good customer service, they definitely don't care if the food they offer is made right Or served hot. I hope no one else gets taken advantage of, however I doubt there any repeat customers.
I've read some other reviews and looks like there were others who had poor experiences with the owners and the restaurant. I hope we are...

I would not have written this review if Waypoint would have done the right thing... they didn't.
We ordered ONE Pizza and four cans of Coke for delivery. All in all $27.50 incl tax.
Guy shows up 50 minutes later, my wife (ASIAN) opens the door and he is asking for $44,-- not even blinking an eye. I come down the stairs and ask "HOW MUCH????". He tells me less convincing that the pizza is 15.50 and one Coke is $2.50 plus tax = $44,-- I told him that that's not going to happened and I want to see a receipt. He'd to go to the car to get it and it showed $41,--
Now my alarm is up and I check:
2 gourmet pizza $31,-- 4 coke ($2.00) 8,-- tax 41,--
He wanted to charge me $2.50 for a coke and Waypoint wanted to charge me twice for the pizza!!!! So he is embarrassed because he has been caught and tells me to just take off 15.50. Where did the guy graduate??? SO I call Waypoint to figure out how much I REALLY owe, $27,50 NOT $44 or $41 or something close to something. The guy on the phone apologized.
Here is the point, both of them try to screw the wrong guy. Hell, it's Tiburon. How many order for delivery and do not check or even care how much they pay. Looks like you ARE GETTING SCREWED BY WAYPOINT PIZZA.
My take on this is, I will have my kid get a job there and pay that way for his school.
I called in again, and the same guy who takes the order took my complaint and told me he will "talk to the guy". NO MY FRIEND, THAT'S"S NOT THE WAY IT WORKS. YOU GUYS WILL CONTINUE THIS PRACTICE WITHOUT EVEN TAKE A BREAK.
The pizza was "OK" BTW.
Waypoint, don't call me or offer free pizza for the rest of the year. I don't like to get the flu,, mmmkey? Not going to order there again either.
UPDATE: Actually will never order there again. Ended up getting sick after eating the pizza spend the night not in bed and almost...
Read moreWe discovered Waypoint Pizza via a food delivery service, which seems to be the restaurant's preferred way of ordering and doing business. If you call, their phone system directs you to order online. With that said, we tried this restaurant several times because it was good...almost really good. But, the items we ordered were always missing ingredients as listed on the menu. Once we requested an additional topping, only for that to be forgotten. Knowing the delivery service has nothing to do with the quality of the food, I called Waypoint directly. I expressed that we liked their food, but wished it could be made as described on the menu, and orders could be made as indicated and paid for. I made it clear I wasn't asking for a refund, but wanted to bring the last several errors to their attention directly. The man I spoke to basically said sometimes they just get too busy and don't pay attention to the orders. Honest, I guess, but no solution. I asked if the ingredients listed on the menu were incorrect and was told the menu was accurate. We ordered 2 more times, and the ingredients were sparser and sparser, and still lacking items listed on the menu. A request for extra dressing was overlooked. Pretty basic. So, we're done. And...
