The overall look of the restaurant is very clean and well organized. You can tell a lot about a food joint from the restroom and I’ll admit that it is very clean. Now the important part…..My wife and I shared a wet burrito as we stopped by to check out the place. People on “nextdoor” made it seem like it could be the new place to go to but we were let down. We understand that we are not in southern Cali where when you order a “burrito al pastor” it’s actually a burrito al pastor. No beans, no rice! Seems more like a Northern Cali, OR, and WA deal on the west coast who adapted to the rice and beans, which leads to our let down. So we ordered the wet burrito Al Pastor only to feel like we ordered a wet burrito “a la piña”. IYKYK! If you’re familiar with the “Al pastor dishes” the meat is marinated pork with pineapple. So to sum things up for those that didn’t understand, we maybe had, I kid you not, 7-8 little pieces of meat, while the rest of the burrito was made up of rice, beans and pineapple. Plus, the red sauce was overpowered with cumin. The service was good and we will try the Consomé’s for a chance at redemption but just thought I’d share.

Decided to stop by to try their Taco Tuesday special. At the time of this posting, most of taco meats were $2.50 during their special. The tacos were a good size, loaded and delicious. I tried the Al Pastor and Carne Asada. Both were grilled well. I do wish the Al Pastor was slightly less sweet, but for some people that may be a plus. This is a small restaurant, so there are only a handful of tables plus some bar seating. I will be back to try some of their other items!

LOVELY MEAL We dined outside on a September Saturday afternoon and had great service. Hub had a michelada with 4 shrimp in it that he loved. I was a fan of my taco salad, but think there should’ve been guacamole on it. More chicken would also have been nice. They make their delicious salsas and hot sauce. Very appreciated. Once winter comes, we will plan on only getting takeout here because their indoor eating area is miniscule.
