Bambino's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Toledo

Really was excited to try this place out, especially for the halal meat they offered. But was disappointed with the raw dough in the calzone we ordered. My sister had mistakenly ate a big portion of the calzone thinking it was mozzarella cheese, but later noticed it was pure raw dough. Was busy that evening, having ordered the pizza/calzone for my little brothers birthday party, but when I called the next day (have limited free time as a student and healthcare worker) I was told they couldn't refund or remake the calzone because it was the next day, in a rude manner. No apology for the raw dough from the beginning and no one ever said “that shouldn't have happened” or acknowledged the mistake. Just a curt, “I can't do anything since it's been a day”. I even offered to bring in proof of the rest of the calzone that we hadn't eaten, which was full of raw dough. But the person just repeats the same message over again.

Was so excited to have found a new halal place, but it's sad that we will not be coming back. Please make sure your food is cooked all the way and please be kinder to your customers, especially when you make a mistake! I understand if you guys have a next day policy, but you didn't have to be...

Placed an order a few weeks ago for pickup. After the guy at the counter made a huge deal about opening the boxes to verify the order was correct, it was missing toppings. Nothing was done to correct the mistake other than the guy saying "I'm the only one working, I make mistakes" Tonight we ordered delivery. Watched the driver deliver our order two doors down although we tried to get his attention prior to him actually delivering it. The tracker said that was our driver. Called the delivery tracker service because Bambino's clearly doesn't answer the phone. We're told there was a technical difficulty, our order hasn't left the store but was about to be prepared. This, over an hour after the order was placed and their tracker showed their driver deliver the order to the wrong address. After the driver delivered the order, my finance asked did he possibly deliver it to the wrong address? He ignored the question, got in his car, stopped in front of our actual house, looked at his phone for a minute then sped off, again without a word. What a joke of a business, with the name it has, it runs like...

Value of food has gone down slightly since new owner but still decent. The head guy driving (possibly the owner) knows what he wants and gives great service but can't say so for the ret of the girls and crew working. No wonder u end up with wrong items on yournoders often. The black girl (d ok not know her name) seems hardworking and open obviously on a run. She's one of the few workers who seems like she's happy to.be there and puts in efdort. Can't say the same for the others.

PS: i live less than a half mile from there so I could easily be w regular but a few mobths ago I walked in and it was quite and empty and. I saw in the kitchen a guy call the girl over and they started making out hard where they make their food. Time and place. I grossed out and left and didn't come back until last week when I saw they had improved things significantly. We'll see how the next...
