NEVER GOING TO THIS MCDONALD'S EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I pulled in there at 10:55 just in time to get something before they closed. The girl on the drive thru intercom said sorry we're closed. After she told me that I wasn't even pissed yet until i pulled through to go around and they were serving another customer in the drive thru! And if you know how this drive thru is designed its a little hard to just backout when your already pulled in. So we sit there and wait for this other customer to get their food when they were supposedly closed. 5mins goes by. 10 mins goes. By the time i was sitting there for a total of 15mins i started honking. Finally the people working the drive got the customer their food. I pulled up and waited for the lady to come to the window. I was sitting there and she started locking up the window. So i waved to get her attention she opens the window up and says yes?? I said i thought you said you were closed? She says we are closed we already put up everything. I looked her in the eyes and said are you serious? You just made us sit here in your drive thru while you made somebody elses food for 15min and you couldn't of made our food while you took 15 min to make their food? After i said that she had this real stupid look on her face and at that point i realized she's probably to stupid to get a job anywhere else so i told her to have a good night and i left. So I will never be going back to this ghetto ass place anymore and i suggest nobody does either if they are this bad at running a drive thru imagine how bad they are at handling and cooking...
Read moreWill never recommend the McDonald's on Kansas Ave. to anyone and will let my fellow friends and coworkers and everyone else I know not to come to McDonald's in general. The General Manager of this location likes to frequently yell at their employees while customers are in the store and likes to take off while they are busy with customers. I've I've this GM berate, almost get physical with another employee, and has made employees constantly cry on the job. This has to be one of the WORST toxic workplaces I have ever seen and witnessed. I highly suggest HR investigate and fire THIS GM before the actual company loses great employees, customers, and their reputation. This is ridiculous and I hope there is something actually done. Or atleast I get a number so I can officially make a complaint on this General manager. They have ZERO reason to act this way to employees. I am a manager for a company and I would NEVER treat my employees this way. This is very concerning McDonald's. Do better. Especially you HR. I would like to be contacted regarding this issue...
Read moreTwo strikes and you're out. About 3 weeks ago I stopped in this McDonalds to simply get a couple of breakfast burritos. I waited at the register for somebody to take my order. And I waited. And I waited. I know the manager (the same one referred to in Nally Yang's review) saw me but didn't say a word. I waited a bit longer then left without food. Like I said that was about 3 weeks ago. This morning I decide to give it a chance again. Pretty much the same thing. Wait at the register while the employee is at the fry station. Never looks around to see if a customer has come in. After waiting a while I leave. Could I have hollered for their attention? Yes... but I shouldn't have to. It's supposed to be fast food... take the order fast... get the food fast. Between being ignored at the register 2 times in a row and the general bad attitude of the morning manager I will not...
