Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Torrington

If I could give zero....I would! First off the place is a disaster, food everywhere & disgustingly FILTHY...when they are slow! I sat in the car for 10 min in front of windows waiting for rain to lighten up & they had no customers so they can't say it was bc they were busy bc they were not. Secondly...they have no toppings that are not cross-contaminated for gluten free selections but they don't tell you this u til after you place your order (i was able to get only lettuce & banana peppers). As for condiments lol...I ordered EXTRA MAYO, EXTRA OIL & VINEGAR & EXTRA SPICES but I received NONE of any...ZERO! Also I ordered the #9 but couldn't get bacon bc they cross-contaminated it. I was told they couldn't even deduct anything from the cost. This is the WORST sub chain I have ever frequented! GO TO NARDELLI'S or JIMMY'S right in the area & MUCH BETTER FOOD, MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! The people who work here are RUDE & do NOT try to work with the customer! Visited the East Main Street Torrington location at approx. 1:30 on Saturday January 25. They were busy - I was the 10th person in line. I could not help but the notice the care and pay attention to detail that Nicole W, Marcus and John were making all the subs with. I mean neatly stacking meat, cheese, pickles, peppers, tomato and lettuce on the sandwiches. Each sub was it's own mini masterpiece - even the juice and spices were added perfectly. It was my turn and I ordered 2 shaved steaks, American cheese, peppers and mayo, and a customized cold meat with the works. When I got home they were just as delicious and fresh tasting as I had anticipated. Cheerful friendly engaging personal and a great sub! I don’t like to complain and I don’t like to give Bad reviews however, hopefully they can learn from this and do better and be better. First of all if you go in store, they are not very personable at all and very rude and rush you as if you’re wasting their time… me personally had never had it and I’ve had other sandwich stores in town so we Decided to give them a try and overall just wasn’t happy very dry no flavor or if it did have flavor it was too salty.
