McDonald's — Restaurant in Torrington

The two Fish-O-Filets we had at this McDonalds today were perfect. Crispy, fresh, hot fish; warm soft bun and cream of tartar sauce and melted cheese. Not my usual order, my partner had a coupon for two of them and asked me if I wanted to get one with him while in this Torrington Plaza.

I'd read online from McDonalds employees surveyed, the fish sandwich was probably the last thing to order since they didn't sell as much as other sandwiches and often just sit under lamps all day, as a result. Considering this, I was curious to try one and as I just wrote, both of them were perfect. Maybe they're moving faster right now as they're on sale at two for six in our area, anyway.

We enjoy and use the the $1, $2, $3 menu, too, and also bought two double cheeseburgers @$2.00 each to bring home. Eating less fast food right now, but there's a place and time for it that will always be welcome whether on the road, short on time, with kids, or simply in the mood. Absolute trash. McDonald's Corporate needs to step in and do something. The staff is rude and unfriendly, and they should all be replaced. I was given cold food, and was told by a haggard looking employee who called herself Mary, that it "wasn't her problem." She then refused a refund telling me I could come back and get it from her manager. She then told me “You can’t be in that much of a hurry if you have time to wait for a refund” several times, and I had to demand a refund repeatedly before she finally did it! All of this transpired at the drive thru window. I wasted 15 min of my life to be disrespected, and leave with a flat soda. Garbage, don't go there. Awful employees, awful service. This isn't the first time I was given cold, less than mediocre food, and had terrible service at this location. This was just the first time I actually complained, and obviously that wasn’t handled well...

Was just there. First I waited 5 or 10 minutes to have my order taken, because the monitor was frozen and the girl couldn't get my order right. Then I had to wait at the end of the drive thru for 10 minutes. When they brought my stuff out I told them I did not order dbl quarter pounders, as my receipt showed, but big macs. The kid assured me it was big macs. It was not. And out of the four burgers two were very red and raw and cold. It was really gross. I've never had that bad of experience there before...Spent $40 and I feel like me or my kids are going to end up sick now. Shouldn't have to microwave your burgers when you get home because the burgers are raw. I thought they had some conveyer system that made sure the burgers were cooked.
