What a nice eatery in Torrington, CT. Clean, immaculate with the nicest waitress/ hostess greeting you when you first walk in! "Dena" will make you feel very welcome! The food was delicious, ordered a hamburger thinking it was just a regular burger but it was a whooping 8oz burger, seasoned well and cooked to my specification. It was very tasty! Please try the rice pudding for dessert, creamy, warm with a splash of Amaretto and a cinnamon stick, the perfect ending! The atmosphere was quiet even though there were several people and a bar. Out to dinner with friends here for the first time. I opted for the ribeye steak and was really impressed. Grilled to perfection and so tender. Best steak I've had while dining out and I usually don't order steak out since I cook a really good one. Was in NYC in December and ordered an aged NYC strip at a famous steak house and some sides. Recently came across this gem. We have ordered take out and each time the food has been great, every staff member I have come into contact with has been very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend trying if you haven't already. The portions for food are very filling and reasonably priced. Great job to Dena and staff! We will continue to come back and try other items on the menu. The half chicken meal is not listed - but my husband was over the top for this meal - can't say...
