I can’t put into words of how great of a job Jessette did with explaining what I would need for my bathroom remodel along with the best options based on what I liked, it’s not easy making these choices alone & she was a big help in finding the right combination of tile to make my bathroom look as modern as ever. Tom also helped me find an excellent backsplash stone to match my cabinets which were an odd oak color so it wasn’t easy but he found the perfect backsplash tile and it came out great. Standard tile is setting the Standard as the best Tile Shop around North Jersey. if you’re stuck on what tile to pick out and finding yourself going to a bunch of tile stores with no product to show for then I definitely recommend going to standard tile as they have a great staff that are friendly and make all your visions better then you imagined. There prices are also the best around from what I came to research.

I just wanted to give this store the praise it deserves. I was heading to a tile store in Clifton, where the owner was like the “soup nazi” on Seinfeld and I really didn’t want to go back, but they had the tile I liked. Somehow I wasn’t listening to the woman on Waze who was barking orders at me, and I ended up in Totowa. I saw Standard Tile by accident and I am so happy I did. Tom helped me, was very friendly, went out of his way to make sure I got the marble tile I really wanted. He called a few different vendors, smiling and happy to do so unlike other places that the person rolls their eyes and is annoyed that you are trying to give them money or help keep the lights on in the store. The showroom was beautiful and I was able to get a few ideas for my future bathroom remodel. Visited Standard Tile today to look for kitchen tile. I had a tile that I brought with me for inspiration. When my mother and I entered the store, there were no other customers. Three employees were at the desk, two of whom were on the phone. We approached the counter and asked the employee who was not busy if they had anything similar to the tile we brought. She showed us a few options but expressed she just returned back to work after having been off for a few months and wasn't really sure of their options. As we looked at a few things, she went to ask one of the other employees for assistance. This employee came over and began helping us. As soon as another customer came in, however, she walked away without warning to assist him and never came back, even after that other customer left. Poor customer service at this store!
