LMAO - I fell for the hype and ordered the food. This is exactly what they tell you it is: a place to go and be social. It's not a restaurant that cares about its food; they only seem to care about what it looks like to be there. The FOMO, the Instagram photos – that's how it appears to be. I ordered to-go on DoorDash, and let me preface that I have severely lowered my standards for any delivery food so, I’m never expecting food to taste how it would at the restaurant. Half the order was in edible. And the whole order was extremely overpriced and probably some of the worst food I’ve had in a while besides the buffalo cauliflower.
We got the brisket grilled cheese with fries, a side of fries with cheese, and the cauliflower buffalo wings. If I had to rate this food, it would be a 1.5 out of 10. And the only thing that gets the 1.5 is the buffalo cauliflower wings. I would eat those again, and that's the only thing I would entertain.
The french fries: one order was crispy and cooked, and the other order was mushy and raw in the middle. It looked like they dropped them in the fryer and immediately took them out. The cheese sauce that came with it was reminiscent of going to the movies in 1990 and being the only one who bought nachos that week, so you get that really old, gooey nacho cheese that clearly has fake ingredients.
Their brisket grilled cheese was the worst brisket grilled cheese I've ever had. Separately, the bread was stale and not toasted; you literally could not even bite through the crust. There was one piece of cheese on one side of the bread with two mini onion rings that covered a corner of one of the sides of the bizarre "Texas toast." The brisket was bland and chewy. The barbecue sauce was bland and uneventful.
The cauliflower wings were the best part, but for the exorbitant amount of money they charge, there should be more than a handful of tiny, bite-sized pieces. Everything is extremely overpriced, and most of the ingredients taste like they just pulled them off the Sysco truck and slapped them on a plate. The food is inconsistent and nothing to write home about.
The food, in my opinion, is an afterthought. It seems like people got together and thought it would be cool to open up a bar but knew nothing about how to make food. But at least people's selfies will look great on Instagram.
This place is new so I hope they get their...
Read moreVery cool new place in Babylon. According to the bartender, has only been opened for 2 months so far. It definitely has more of a girly/"Instagrammable" vibe, which is cool. We ate before we came so we didn't get to try any food, but the menu had a really sick assortment of dishes and I think there is something for everybody. Just by looking over at other peoples plates, they have the "good fries".. and if you like fries, you know what I'm talking about. Other dishes looked good and will be trying them next time we come.
Only gripe I have is that it was HOT, and I mean, my date and I were sweating -- not because bar was packed (we went on a Wednesday night, 7/30/2025), but I think they need to do something w/their AC. I mentioned this to the bartender who was also saying it was very hot. I'm not going to ding them on the review stars because of the heat, but if any management is reading this, you guys gotta get that figured out and figured out soon.
I ordered their LIT which was more ice than I would have liked, but I switched to Wave Chaser's after that which were nice, crisp and cold. I really like that they also have an option for pitchers for their draft beers.
I see this place being more for the ladies than the guys, but they still put a huge TV screen assortment playing sports for guys. It was funny bc they said place goes crazy for their "Love Island" TV show nights which gets packed w/chicks. Alternatively, I don't see as much that guys would flock here just to chill w/other guys, as like I said, it has more of a girly bar/Instagrammable feel. Ambiance was cool though, speaking as a straight guy.
They also have the cool pint glasses for beer that fill up from the bottom -- I've only ever seen this online and never in person so it was cool to see.
Looking forward to coming back soon to try the food.
Just PLEASE management, get that AC fixed and...
Read moreNice place!
Very trendy which we all love.
Greeted by a few employees who were so so nice.
Big menu, girl dinner, lots of drinks and foods to choose from.
Sat at the bar, bartender was very nice and attentive which is lovely.
Drinks are a little overpriced, I frequently visit Bayshore, Babylon, Lindy, Massapequa, hitting all the local spots but $17-20 a drink is high! Unless it’s something super speciality. Also considering they weren’t 10/10 drinks. My first drink was very bitter, second drink which was the same drink, tasted completely different.
Food prices also seemed a bit high and again I do understand the price of things nowadays is insane, I’m with the times but I frequent local trendy spots enough to know when prices are high! Food also wasn’t 10/10 which is ok, nothings perfect but for the price, it should be close! I ordered a side of fries that was almost $15 for the smallestttttt portion I have ever seen, some fries were soggy, some were like stone cold potatoes. Small details but opinions matter!
It was also hot as ever in there, I understand that I visited on the hottest day of the year so far but when I walked across the street to another bar, it was ice cold. Please turn on your ac, it was so uncomfortable which is why my party ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Perhaps just a one off fluke thing, but just a heads up!
Atmosphere 8/10 Food 7/10 Drinks 7/10 Prices 4/10 Staff 10/10 Bathrooms were very clean and well kept
Some kinks to work out, but I’ll be back! Maybe for happy hour! Please reconsider your prices esp on those drinks. When I went across the street to a local popular bar the same drink I ordered at B Social was $4 less at the other bar/restaurant and tasted way better,...
