This place is just not worth anyone’s time. The service is the worst they do not know of hospitality All they do is try to take every penny from you.
We sat down (that place looks horrible). If you ask for water they only give you bottled. You have to clap to get the waiters attention. The only reason I went to try it was because I bought a 15 dollar Groupon for 30 dollars.. I called before arriving to ask if it was valid to use and he said YES. When the bill arrived it was 40 dollars and the manager said that he could not give me the discount because it wasn’t over 45.. when the coupon specifically says on 30.. (trust me I read the fine print) then he said that he couldn’t give me the discount because we had a lunch special (it’s Saturday and we ordered off the dinner menu). Then he said that he did not know why Groupon is offering that deal when it wasn’t him who posted it. Absolutely crazy! I ended up getting up from my chair and discussing (fighting with this man at the counter) because he never returned to the table.. Finally he did not give me the 30 dollar discount but 20. I will not return...
Read moreOur favorite Indian restaurant closed and we were searching for that perfect little place. So reading reviews, we tried Inde Spice today. We were greeted by a very fine young man who turned out to be our waiter. When we looked at the menus, he walked over to answer any questions and make suggestions. He took our order and then the owner walked over. Another friendly and welcoming person. We spoke a bit, and he made it seem as if we knew each other for a while. I won’t bore you with the names of our choices. We ordered two different appetizers, two different naans, and one main. I like spicy, my wife, not quite as much. Three choices, went for the medium. I Ike spicy and this was just about right for me. It has enough spice to feel it, but no where near fire, so really medium. Each course was excellent and would I go back again? For sure. Would I recommend it to friends? Yep. Before we left the owner came over to us and we spoke for a few minutes, again, very warm and friendly. Simple, store front restaurant in a mall with good parking and excellent food at...
Read moreDefinitely one of the best Indian Spots in New York, not just Long Island alone. The waiter was both warm and hospitable, and he took our orders as soon as we sat down. The food came out quick and almost at the same time, so we didn’t have to wait long. Don’t let the diminutive look of the portions deceive you, because the rice and naan came with them in large numbers, so I was more than full, even having leftovers to bring home. About the food, there’s no compliment enough to describe the taste of the dishes. The curries were perfectly seasoned and came in many types (tikka masala, vindaloo) (correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not familiar with Indian culinary cuisine:)). The naan was my favorite, specifically the garlic ones, and you can eat it alone or pair with the chutney or any curries, up to you. We were asked about the quality of food several times while we were eating, and even the chef greeted us once, which showed how well the staffs were trained. The lot was spacious, so you’ll not find it hard to find a place to park nearby. Give this a...
