Right Coast Taqueria Deer Park — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I have a lot of experience with this restaurant, both as a customer and an Uber Eats driver. Read to the end to find out about the terrible employee, who is mostly likely the manager or owner. YIKES!

Firstly, as a customer, the food is generic and lacks true authenticity. When I heard they made Birria tacos, I was ecstatic, since they are so difficult to come by in NY, especially the suburbs. I have tried the Birria Tacos on two occasions. They are lack luster, and are missing that crucial Chile taste. Birria tacos revolve around the Chile flavor, in the soup, the tortilla, and especially the meat. Speaking of the soup, Birria tacos are traditionally meant to dunked in the soup. They provide such a small container of "consomé" soup, as if it were just a salsa topping. You are better off traveling all the way to Corona, Queens and waiting on a massive line at Birria-Landia food truck, then to even waste your time here. On another occasion, I also tried the pupusa's and they were dry and tasted more like dough.

Now, as an Uber Driver. I have never had a good experience picking up food here. One of two things will happen... Usually both. The food will leak or there will be an extremely long wait. Uber Restaurants are in charge of accepting orders and signaling when food is complete, which then allows drivers to accept orders and go pick up, which creates a fast delivery. I have never waited less than 10 minutes on off peak hours, and never less than 30 minutes when its busy. This is directly a result of mismanagement and poor time management.

And lastly, the nasty employee, who I personally believe is the manager or owner. This woman is tall, white, dark hair and usually in a black Right Coast shirt. She always has a RBF or mean face on. She looks like she doesn't want to be there. She makes you feel rushed, she has a very nasty attitude and has no customer service whatsoever. As an uber driver, after waiting 20+ mins, I see this woman bringing an order to the grab and go section. As soon as she put the bag down, I look for the name (Boldly showing the customers name) I grab the bag and go. Thats when she gave me the nastiest attitude, said "excuse me, what are you doing," and basically accused me of stealing the food, until I showed her the customers name matched. I have never been asked to show the customers name here, which is the purpose of grab and go for uber and online orders.

I'll never eat here again, I always deny the uber requests to pick up, and I tell every single person I know and meet, not to come here. I will literally say "Hi, my name is Gerald, don't eat at right coast...

🥇🪙 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCELLENT FOOD!!! Having lived in Smithtown my entire life and recently moved to the Babylon area, we were missing our fav. taco spot in Nesconset. Last night, I searched online for "Good tacos and Fun Deer Park Avenue" and RIGHT COAST 🌮 Taqueria appeared.

Since the weather wasn't great late last night, we opted for ordering online & pick up. I req. extra scallions in the online order "notes" area & was Pleased to receive a small separate container of them. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the staff were very nice. The tacos were AMAZING! We got 6 tacos, tried 3 Different kinds, and it's hard to pick a favorite – Possibly the shrimp taco! 🍤 ❓ Altho, the Mongolian chicken taco is kind of... To Die For‼️ It's a different type of taco than the norm~ it had an Amazingly addictive taste and NO fat on the chicken!! I'm so used to getting a lil chewy pc. of fat in some coated/marinated/crispy chicken dishes. NOT HERE! Just delicious yummy chicken. Their drinks were also delicious. 🏆 I believe that the owner is a strong spirited person/person's, I find the entrepreneurial drive & the ingenuity of their ideas to be extremely impressive! I'm genuinely rooting for their continued success & growth!! It's WELL DESERVED. We will definitely be returning ASAP! Thank you, we are so grateful to have such a great Taqueria...

A colleague of mine is a big fan of this place and has been talking it about it for a couple years… I don’t live close by and am rarely in town, so I wasn’t sure I’d ever get the chance to try it.

Today I happened to be visiting and around at lunch time, so we ordered in. The guacamole alone was so good I found myself daydreaming about it for the rest of the day. I am a competent cook but I cannot make avocados do things like that.

I returned for dinner on my way out of town, just to get some takeout to bring on the road with me. I was hungry and didn’t want to wait until I got home to eat my veggie bowl + harvest burrito... I eat vegetarian 99% of the time but pose as a pescatarian now and then; so I ordered some extra stuff and dropped anchor to work for a bit (they have WiFi).

The shrimp taco was one of the best and freshest fast food dishes I’ve ever eaten, and I will be thinking about it for the rest of my life.

To top it all off they were friendly as hell, and the food came out hot, fresh, and fast.

I am going to come back to town very soon, just so I can visit again.
