Came in here by accident because the Carriage House doesn't serve lunch. The food was great, the service was great, HUGE portions. Idk why you're giving it $$. For the amount of food you get, it should only be $. There aren't free refills on the sodas, but I'll pay the extra 2 bucks a drink for the amount of food I get. There is just one thing I will say, more in hopes that Trisha's reads their reviews. They're a family owned business located in the heart of Babylon town for almost 20 years. The older members of the family need to school the younger members about what constitutes good customer service sometimes. I've brought several people to the restaurant since I discovered it, and only experience slightly subpar service twice. Both times from younger staff (Probably under 25.). If you're standing at the bar and chatting to the bartender when a customer stops in, you stop chatting and greet the customer. It wasn't until my sister muttered under her breath that we were actually acknowledged. Also, check on your customers, see if they need drink refills, which should take no more than 2 minutes to fill, and shouldn't need to be asked for twice when the place is only 1/2 full. It might have been the same young man because once again, he was chatting away with the bartender. Overall, don't let one millennial staff member keep you from this excellent eatery. Kids these days just...
Read moreLittle local spot, I like supporting local, first visit and some things need repair though... first off owners son too pushy, nice but just too much get this get that, plus meals did not come out together, there was only two of us at the table (actually noticed it happened to the table of three next to us too) we had the steak cassadia: nice crisp on top mushy on the bottom. Mahi poboy special was excellent but bread was hard not fresh. The basket of sweet potato fries was delish (the least important item came out right)! This place was crowded with many happy friendly people which appeared to be enjoying themselves and most were getting hamburgers, that looked really good from where I was sitting! (See extensive burger selections too) That is what we would recommend having and we will try too when we return. I like to tell it like it is, good and bad, so try this place out hopefully it will be better for you. My glass of water was empty for a long time and never got filled, but i was asked 5X to fill my empty beer glass? Oh another big issue I have and main reason to leave a review is the 4%service charge to pay by credit, why? That's a restaurant cost not something the customer should have to pay imo. And to recommend a 25%tip on the check is just too much. A I will patronize the other restaurants that don't do this long as they...
Read moreI love Tricia's! For the past 14 years that I've been coming here, it has been consistently incredible -- the food is delicious, the pickles are free, and the beer is cold! The menu has great variety, including wings, shrimp, salads, sandwiches, wraps and entrees, etc. but it's nearly impossible to not just flip to the back of the menu and order a burger because they are SO GOOD (just tonight I had the Buffalo burger and it was bangin...Cadillac Jack is my other top choice -- but they're all good...try em all!!!) Also the hot crab dip appetizer is amazing -- if it's not on the menu, just ask for it (but then you'll probably be too full to eat your burger). The atmosphere is super casual and laid back, and the staff are wonderful. They have great weekly and daily specials, the portions are generous, and it's all very affordable. Sometimes there's a wait for a table, sometimes there isn't. It's a small restaurant with a small kitchen -- if it's a busy night, you might be there for a little while. But that's okay -- it's a great place to be -- just drink some beer and eat some pickles! I'm so thankful for this great little spot in the heart of...
