Cate's Creamery on Main Street — Restaurant in Town of Bolton

Excellent ice cream, and excellent staff. My 3 year old accidentally dropped his ice cream and one of the staff happened to see, and when they saw the disappointed look on his face, they stopped the production line to take care of him and make him another on the house....which was SO sweet and I totally respect how they put the customer first. Also, one of the children we were with had a peanut allergy, and AGAIN the stopped everything to take necessary precautions, hold up the production...to make sure that he was taken care of and safe. Stopped by Cate's Creamery hoping for a delightful scoop. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself was a letdown, tasting strikingly like a bland, generic store brand. This was particularly disappointing considering its predecessor, Ben & Jerry's, set the bar high.
