Worst experience in any establishment. Store closes at 9pm, arrived at 8:35pm and ordered a sandwich. As I was waiting I wanted to use the restroom to wash my hands. However, there were two objects in front of the restroom door. I inquired about using the restroom and the response was the restroom was closed. Mind you, there was no sign to indicate otherwise. I then replied, how can the restroom be closed when your store is still open for business, plus I am a customer waiting for my order. The young guy turned around and whispered to the female employee and he turned back to me and repeated himself, "The restroom is closed". It was clear, the employees did not want me to use the restroom to potentially dirty it up since they were cleaning the store. Evidence of that was all the tables and chairs moved to one side of the store. It was already clear when a customer walks into this establishment you're not dining-in and to add to that not using the restroom either. I made a formal complaint on the corporate website and some person with a one liner indicated the restroom was closed due to clogged pipes and the sign must have fallen down. I don't know who fed that lie to the person who replied regarding my complaint. In addition, the person who replied didn't use a jersey mike corporate email address. It was a gmail address. That itself sounds fishy. I will never return to this location. The staff starts moving all the tables and chairs for clean up well before an hour till closing. So don't think you're going to dine-in at 8pm, well before closing at this store location. Sad that store hours dictate how staff treat/behave to their paying customers so they can leave close to 9pm...
Read moreI went in a few days ago, the store is insanely hot and not bearable for the workers. When I was in the store the owner of a few of the stores came in and started drilling on a young man that works there for not wearing the correct uniform, but I completely understand why not because it’s over 90° in the store. He kept nagging the worker while he was trying to deal with customers and the kid quit on the spot because he couldn’t take the disrespectful attitude from the person that should be leading by example. He then proceeded to say that he couldn’t afford to fix the air conditioner, walked out the door and got into his insanely expensive car. I think it’s embarrassing for the owner that’s 60+ years old to talk to a close to 21 year old man like that. I pray the ac gets fixed and there needs to be some change at the store. I’m worried because it’s mainly young adults at the store that work there, probably 16-22 and the reason I’m worried is because if the owner talks to the workers like that to the workers in front of customers I can only imagine how he talks to them behind closed doors. I pray the ac gets fixed because it’s genuinely not fair to force them to wear the whole work outfit in the store. God bless the jersey mikes crew and I hope the general manager and owner of the store gets in trouble for treating their crew...
Read moreAfter a visit to the Selden location today, all I can say is think twice before coming to this location. When asked a simple question the server behind the counter answered rudely and rolled her eyes as if she could not be bothered to attend to a paying customer. When I asked a follow-up question she again rolled her eyes and refused to answer me. When I asked for her name, she refused to answer me. The manager, Brandon, came out to assist. Upon trying to speak to him, he also refused to give me her name and his as well. I asked for their names because I wanted to make a formal complaint to the company. Then, he threw my sandwich against the wall and said you are not getting anything here and told me to get out. Then they called the police because I would not leave without their names. I did receive a call from the owner the same day, which was professional and she apologized for the way my son and I were treated. Unfortunately, this was an upsetting...
