Where to begin? I was looking for a ralphs cart for after my wedding to give out at the very end of the night when guests were leaving. I called every location near the venue and this location offered a truck. The manager who everyone is talking about below answered and didn't really want to do it because September has 'crazy weather' but said she would do it if I really wanted. We were desperate and close to the date so we did it. It was the only vendor we had an issue with which italian ice should not be this complicated. I went there 2 times, once to put a deposit down and go over details and the second time to pick 10 flavors and pay the remainder. We also discussed timing and I made it extremely clear when I wanted the truck there. I told her 9:45PM to start serving when some guests would start leaving. They showed up at 8:30PM and guests started to realize and kept going outside to get the ice when I wanted to keep them on the dance floor. We went out to take pictures in front of the truck and I told him to not serve it until 9:45-10PM. I went to order the ice I wanted and looked up at the list and it's a list of 8 flavors and only two that I chose. I was extremely upset that I just paid for a service that I didn't get what I wanted. Instead of the owner apologizing, she fought with me through text message the entire day after my wedding saying I never picked my own flavors (if you gave me the option to choose what I wanted, of course I picked them) I then sent her a copy of the contract with the time I wanted them there by and she has yet to answer back. It's really scary that she did not recall ever meeting to discuss flavors when we were inside the store and it's on cameras and all of her coworkers saw us. I tried explaining if my florist brought roses instead of sunflowers that I wanted I would be extremely upset but she just kept replying that I told her to just pick popular flavors (she gave me pumpkin pie - it's summer time, no body wants pumpkin yet) She also wrote up a fake contract and sent me a picture of it to cover herself about timing. Needless to say I advise no one EVER use them for any event because they ruined the end of...
Read moreNot to get myself in hot water with management since she knows me but I think we need to go back to the way Ices USED TO BE DONE/SERVED here. Lately (and I mean for the past 4 seasons or so) the servers/workers DO NOT press down on the scoops put into the cups like how it used to be done years ago resulting in a little too much space left over in the cups resulting in not fully getting your money's worth. (back then there was no scoop rule where small cups= 2 scoops, Medium=3 scoops, Large= 4 scoops).......
I understand production costs have gone up and general cost of the tubs of ices have gone up over the recent years but still thats what raising the prices are for. Taking the scoops per size cup you get thing litetally needs to be thrown out the window and the cups should just be filled fully like they used to.
JUST CAME with the bestie and our co-worker.......my medium 2 flavor combo (mint cookie crumb/chocolate graham marshmallow) was half right (no mint crumb but got Blueberry cheesecake which i like so no harm no foul but still!!) And our co-worker wanted cake batter with Chocolate but got birthday cake instead (since you can't technically mix ice with ice cream for the regular medium price WHICH I FORGOT ABOUT UNTIL NOW BUT HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING which he should of.... done on purpose? Doubt but while waiting to get our $31 of ices i kept getting the staredown from some new girl who I've never seen before lol. Whatever. Have an ice...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. From the moment we walked up to the window the older woman behind the counter had an attitude. Because theyâre closing next week for the reason, ices are BOGO. I ordered a rainbow for my 4 year old son and a vanilla Oreo. Their card minimum is 10 dollars and I had no cash so I also decided to purchase a pint to bring home of the rainbow as well as an additional pint of Spumoni for my mother. The woman ends up only ringing me up for the pints and when I checked i knocked on the window and said the other ices were missing. She told me I chose to get the pints instead. I explained that it wasnât instead, and that I got the pints in addition to the other ices so that the total would be over the minimum. She was so rude to me telling me over and over again that I got the pints instead. Like no... I didnât. So now Iâm back at square one with the card minimum and sheâs beyond nasty to me. She eventually gave me the ices and then told me that this is why she doesnât like to do the BOGO special because people take advantage of her. I wasnât taking advantage, she misunderstood me and was rude to me in return. Iâve never been treated so poorly by someone at a business in my life. I will NEVER...
