Nyack Hot Bagels and Deli — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

My office is about 5 minutes away from here and we order quite frequently. Let me start off by saying the food here is good, the tuna is great, salads are delicious, and the bagels are definitely the best in the area. But none of that matters if your food takes an hour or more to show up, is cold, and the order is wrong. It seems like the more frequently you order from them- the less they care about your order.

We order at my office quite a bit, on our last few orders items were missing/wrong/cold. The order we faxed in today took 1.5 hours to show up- food was ice cold, coffee was missing, one bagel was completely wrong. Furthermore the guy on the phone was really rude to my colleague and was arguing with her that there was "no coffee" on the order (which was faxed, so yeah- it was on there!). You need to go to this place. It's apparently a staple of the community, and for a good reason. Serendipitous walking into this perfect deli on a trip to NY. So glad I did. My order consisted of half a dozen of the world's most delicious bagels. They even topped with some tasty chives cream cheese. My wife had their fresh chicken cutlet. Begrudgingly she only gave me one bite. After tasting I'm surprised she did. Service was amazing and the staff was extremely competent. Super accommodating for special orders. Staff was cheerful. If I could leave 0 stars I would. They write down your order and still make your sandwich however they want. I ordered a bagel with egg over easy and bacon, they fried my egg. The next time I asked for an BLT on white bread toasted with mayo. I received a BLT on sourdough bread, no lettuce, just tomato and bacon. They are terrible with taking directions or even making a sandwich. To spend money ordering food just to have it delivered and it be completely wrong is very frustrating.
