OMG...A FEW years back I used to go in this nice restaurant at least once a week Food/service/management... let me tell you all it was incredible,... unfortunately over the years since this location have opened.... quality of All the Above was compromised..so I decided to go less often until I stopped......the other Day I gave them another chance....I Hoped they might have improved the quality over all Front/back of the house...... unfortunately I shouldn't have..... I started ordering appetizers and let me tell you... nothing like the picture that you see on those screens at the entrance no presentation as it use to be ...poor service by what I believe a new among many waiters/waitresses...the bar drink Wise can still hold it own...even dough I would like fresh garnish on my drink (fruit speaking about ) no going bad one .... But the reason why I decided 1Star review the main course.....I Ordered Steak and Filet mignon.....both I specifically Ask to the waiter to be on the Rare/M Rare side.... guess what they brought the meat way over cooked....now I just wanted a replacement of that....so I asked the waiter to bring us/refire a new one .. guess what instead the " Manager lady" showed up saying that the meat was perfectly cooked OMG...I could believed she even said she measured the temperature 🌡️.... probably half hour since that it was cooked...and still it was above the Rare temperature..... what does that make you think..... probably off the grill it was over cooked already....the all situation was poorly handled by the "manager"....but Guess what THE BEST PART....They sent me back the same steak cooked even more!!!!! I know that cause I marked it with my knife....and the worse part there was so much juice from the meat that immediately made me think the cooks in the kitchen.... just microwaved this meat.....And I want it Rare/M Rare...by the way soo.....no apologies by the Manager Lady...she Never even came back to the table to check,.. What's so ever....what a shame...I promise you...I use to love this place.....I guess I just keep the good memories about it.... Have a great day... About 2 weeks later I was finally contacted by Someone? From the company? which did not Identify his/herself..... instead of clarifying the all Situation....he/she was assuming that I was Frustrated???..For what?... cause at your Restaurant establishment THIS manager ( She) was not capable of handling a customer service/food issue?... Let me answer your that.... definitely I was Not. Frustrated..at all... neither now i reviewing your establishment....I was just trying to have Dinner...... Plain and simple... unfortunately it didn't work out for me too well cause you lack of quality customer service.. just so you know.....in any restaurant especially the size of yours... you want to provide to the Customer/s...a Great service...that's..all... unfortunately in this case the service It was totally below any Standard average Service....So ...just try understand that This supposedly Great Restaurant to have dinner at ... especially this location It is way Gone from what is Used to be..too bad .I don't even think it'll never.. be back ..but good luck C.C.F.....pretty Much the only thing as food ...that Still stand strong IT IS the CHEESECAKE.!!.. by the way once I edited my review the Manager(She) erased the Google response...wow...WHY? But... you already know that answer... good...
Read moreWent here on Sunday 4/23/23 with my mom after shopping in the pallisades mall to buy a dress for an upcoming wedding that we are attending. Been here before, a few years ago before i started writing reviews. Best part is, you don't even have to enter the mall part to get to this restaurant, there is an entrance that leads you right inside! Anyways, my mom and i approached the host stand, said there was a party of 2, then we got sat. we were sat in a skinny table with a booth part and a chair part. Our server, while very nice, was a bit slow in both greeting us, and throughout our time here. Anyways, we started with 2 waters, and the bread, which we didn't even have to ask for! Next we looked over the menus. They have a large menu ranging from salads to sandwiches, to different entrees, and of course plenty of cheesecake! They have a menu called the skinnyliscous menu, which is a lighter calorie form of the regular menu. As stated in another review by others, not sure if it is healthier, but at least it is less calories! We started with the chicken pot stickers as an appetizer, and for entrees i ordered the impossible burger, and my mom ordered the bacon turkey avocado sandwich. Both of our meals came with salad. The chicken pot stickers came out before you know it, and they were good! It has a slightly different taste than the pork, and i enjoyed them! next our meals came out! in between our appetizers and our meal, people were being sat all around us. We were fine, but it could bother some others that people are on both sides of you being sat all over the place. Anyways, also in between our appetizers and our meal, we waited a while for the waiter to refill our waters, and this was before it got busy. We did finally get waters after asking for them. Next, we got our meals, and the impossible burger was very good. We also waited on the waiter for 2 balasmics that was our dressing for the salads. Although, it was getting more busy and he had to take others orders, so understandable, but still. we probably waited 10 minutes for him to get the balasmic dressing, and even that we had to ask him about 3-4 times. My mom liked her salad, and her sandwich. My salad i didn't quite like as much because i don't really like the red lettuce, and the mixed greens. but my burger was really good tho! i enjoyed it. After we finished, we asked for the check, and paid with a gift card, and added the remaining balance on my mom's discover card. getting the check was a bit quicker. we paid with a cash tip, and went on our way. This visit we did not have their cheesecake, but they have plenty of cheesecake from red velvet to chocolate to lemon. Although a slice can be 9-11 dollars depending on what you get. However, before this visit, we did try their cheesecake (can't remember which ones though), but soft, creamy, and very good, as i remember devouring mine. Perhaps will be back soon, and next time get...
Read moreThe worst experience I have had at a restaurant in years, and that is saying a lot. It was supposed to be a great birthday dinner with close friends. We came here because we heard the food was good and we had three gift cards acquired as gifts over the years. First of all, the air did not move one bit and we were all hot within the first 10 minutes. The waitress was very nice and commiserated with us but said nothing could be done as it was out of their control. Sweat dripping off of our foreheads 10 minutes later, using wet napkins around our necks to keep cool, our appetizers arrived and were good. When it came to our main meal, the food runner brought everything out but forgot the extra plates as two people in our party were splitting a filet mignon and the waitress had assured us she would bring the plates. One main meal was a salad with shrimp, but the dressing was not present. Our waitress had abandoned us and we were stuck with no ability to eat for three out of five guests. I got another waiter's attention but he said I needed to tell our waitress, who was nowhere to be found. Finally, six or seven minutes later, the food runner came back and brought the plates, one steak knife, and the dressing for the salad on the side. One guest hated his pasta Carbonara and said the spaghetti was hard and dry and tasteless.
We had ordered a cheesecake ahead of time for birthday celebration but by this time, with loud music blaring, overheated dinner guests, and no waitress around, we had enough. Our waitress finally came back to us and we told her we would take the cake to go. She seemed relieved to be rid of us as she was obviously very tired and hot.
We got our bill and it was about $300 and I gave the three gift cards worth $150 but she said they were probably not good as I had to go through an email system to reactivate them. She gave them to the man at the register and time went by with no word and no waitress again. Finally, I went to the front desk and he was "waiting" for me (why didn't he come to our table?) - he got two cards to work and said the other needed me to email the address on the gift card and then I would received an electronic message with the funds. I said okay, I would do that now, but he said it would take too long and I should just pay the rest with my credit card for now and use it next time (as if I would ever come back). He was very nice but extremely inflexible. I left a decent tip (because nobody should be forced to work in such heat) but they lost all of us to ever using The Cheesecake Factory again for...
