Delmonico's never misses! Everything we ordered, from the lobster to the filet mignon and wedge salad, was prepared to perfection and absolutely delicious. They also have a nice house cab that you can get in a bottle. The prices were more than fair for the quality, making it a great value for a delicious meal. Service was spot-on. Our server was warm, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked. Two managers stopped by to check on us, which added a nice personal touch. To top it all off, I even got a compliment on my Proof wallet when I paid, unexpected but appreciated! Consistently excellent food and genuinely great people. Delmonico's remains a go-to spot for a reliably amazing dining experience. Previously, I had a NY Strip, and Utica Greens. I love their Utica Greens, Olive oil, cherry peppers, breadcrumbs.. yum. Perfectly cooked. I also has a caprese salad. Great ambiance, excellent value.

Tasty food and very lively atmosphere. You wouldn’t think this place exists right off of a main road in Clifton Park but it is very much worth the stop in. Definitely recommend getting a reservation as the dinners book up quickly. You’re greeted by “Frank Sinatra’s” women who all seem to be wearing very pretty tights as a standard. When we went we got the last walk-in table and were seated in 5 minutes. Warm bread and garlic butter was brought out to help ease our hungry stomachs. The steaks came out not too much later and were cooked to perfection. One recommendation on ordering steak here - if you don’t like bloody steak order medium. Medium rare is just right if you like a more rare steak. Highly recommend the long green peppers appetizer. Very delicious! No complaints about this steakhouse, and will definitely come back to keep enjoying the various options.

4 yr update 9/2024. Had dinner here on a Sunday night in September. Service was still just as quick and courteous. Food was still delicious. I can't recommend it highly enough. Had dinner here before and was satisfied. Decided to go again a few years later for our anniversary. We asked for a table outside because I'm still nervous to eat inside. It was a bit chilly outside, but there were plenty of propane warmers. We interacted with probably 5 or 6 staff. Every single one of them was extremely nice and helpful. Food was delicious. Drinks were too. My husband had the Delmonico, his normal, I tried the NY Strip. Both steaks were cooked as requested. Appetizers were delicious. I recommend the kicked up calamari and the garlic cheese bread. All in all it was another excellent experience, and I highly recommend them.

I want to specify that our server Riley was very nice and she is the reason the service got the 2 stars instead of 1 star. I’d give her five stars if I could review her service separately from the entire experience. The hostess who seated us also was very bubbly and welcoming. I came here for dinner with my family the other night and ordered a bowl of vodka penne. I’ve honestly never seen vodka penne where the sauce was non existent, pasta had no color, and just chunks of tomato. Every place makes things differently though and since the menu never said anything about chunks of tomato (I’m talking large chunks not small bits like a fresh sauce might have) I asked Riley if I could get the pasta without the chunks. She was very nice about it and took my bowl back. A man who I didn’t get his name, but I imagine he’s some sort of management as he was wearing a nicer dress shirt and had a mic, came out to speak to me and that’s where things went down hill. He proceeded to tell me there was no way I could get the pasta without tomato being a part of it to which I explained tomato itself isn’t a problem, it’s not an allergy, it’s the texture for me. He went back and forth with me and was very condescending. At one point he told me every vodka penne was made that way with large chunks so I should expect that. It was my first time at this Delmonicos, hadn’t been to the Albany location in many years, and I’ve never had a bowl of vodka penne from anywhere come out looking this way but even still, you don’t speak rudely to customers. He had me so bothered by the way he spoke to me I didn’t want to eat anything from there at that point. None of us plan to return here because of how he was when he came over. If you want customers to return, speak to them with decency, not like an idiot who’s beneath you and not worth your time. Even if you do for some reason think I’m an idiot who doesn’t know marinara sauce is made “100% a tomato product” rather than understand I have a texture aversion, you don’t speak nasty. To clarify - I understand that me having a texture aversion isn’t the restaurant’s problem, it’s my own thing, so if he’d spoken to me nicely I’d have appreciated being able to switch to something else and it’d have been fine. The entire issue I had with him was how rudely he spoke to me and how he was condescending to me.

Riley was very nice and not condescending or rude at all. She was great. Nothing negative in my review was about her so I don’t want this to have any backlash towards her. The man who came over to our table though shouldn’t have a job where he has to deal with customers if he can’t handle speaking properly to them. I’m sorry I don’t know his name to clarify further but we were there last...

Did not meet expectations. This location has been open for a while now in the Clifton Park area so you'd think they'd have their act together. Not so much. I can always overlook one mistake as people are human and things happen, but not numerous mistakes in one sitting.

Went on a Sunday at 5 PM just as it was starting to get busy, but got immediate seating for party of 4. Waiter came over after a few minutes of being seated. Very polite, very nice young man. My daughter specifically asked "can i get an appetizer as my meal so it comes out with everyone else's food"? to which the waiter said "of course, not a problem". he even wrote it down on the ticket. We also ordered antipasto salad as appetizer, dry with dressing on the side so the kids could enjoy it. The waiter said it out loud as he wrote it down. All good.

Less than 5 minutes goes by and the staff brings out the appetizer my daughter ordered (strike 1) and they apologize and take it back and said they can bring out a fresh one with our meals. ok, not a big deal, but odd they can't read the ticket right. Maybe 10 minutes after that our entrees show. We never got our antipasto appetizer (strike 2) and when they hand out the entrees mine is missing (Sliced Sirloin). I presume it didn't fit on the tray but the staff member comes back in a minute and asks "how did I want it cooked again" to which I answer "medium" and she disappears without explanation. I later find out from the waiter they never fired the meal (strike 3). My family eats their meals as i didn't want them to get cold food. About 5 minutes later an antipasto salad shows up! And it has dressing all over it. (strike 4). My family is almost done eating at this point while I still wait so i sent the antipasto back and said no thanks since they didn't get it right anyway. Finally my sliced steak shows up (they apologized for delay) and it tasted fine. The slices of steak were covered in a Cabernet mushroom sauce which was nice but when i scraped the sauce of the steak slices the "medium steak" slices were everything from rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, to well done (strike 5). No clue how they cook one steak to 4 or 5 different temps and slice it up unless it was already pre-sliced and i got miscellaneous pieces. The waiter was good with drink re-fills but seemed allergic to bussing the table and at one point we had 10 glasses on the table (6 empty glasses). The food tasted fine everyone agreed but the overall service was disorganized and a joke for what claims to be such a high-end steakhouse. I probably won't come back for a long while and hope they get a clue how to read a ticket and...

This is an old favorite for special celebrations. Google needs to add a star scale for value. This place gets 5 stars overall because it's usually clean, lively, great food, tasty drinks. However, there's almost always an issue with parking during peak dinner times. The food, though very good, is also very inconsistently delivered hot. Sometimes part of your meal will be cold, while the other part is very hot. Generous size portions, except I almost always have to request more mushroom sauce I get with my sliced sirloin. Most of the time it's been cooked to my preferred level (medium rare). Right or wrong, I judge a place based on the small details. This is one place I ALWAYS have to ask them to please be sure my martini is full. They consistently fill only 2/3, unless I say something. That really drives me nuts. Especially because this place really tries to put a large focus on their bar atmosphere. The drinks are on the more expensive side, and for the martinis, they use the smaller version of the glass. So that's why it's an issue for me. The servers do push extras, but that's their job. It's not done rudely or anything like that. They are usually attentive, but I have had unfortunate experiences with our server disappearing where we had to go ask others to find them. There's usually 6-10 in my party. Negatives about this restaurant are not quite yet important enough to keep me away. Even though the meal prices have skyrocketed, you are paying for the atmosphere and service. It is getting closer though. I don't mind traveling for another good restaurant if this place becomes too overpriced. I will say, we went on Father's Day, 2025, and the manager came around to check on us, we told him everything was tasty. No real problems. Food was delicious. He handed my father and my brother (who were the fathers we were celebrating) a certificate for a Delmonico Steak as a thank you. Those meals are $42. This was an incredibly kind and unexpected gesture. It's the reason we continue to support this restaurant. Negatives: parking, reservations, wait time, bar drinks not filled, pricey vs. value, sometimes cold food Positives: bar drinks are delicious, food is delicious, atmosphere is trendy & lively, service is consistently friendly, great for special celebrations with and without kids. You can feel the...
