Well I figured I would write a review after almost a year only because I never got around to it and hate AT&T due to this store and Iâm getting a new phone elsewhere. They made it seem like I could pay cash after they processed my trade in but refused to tell me that I would get my $700 trade in credit at the end of a 3 year installment plan. After all was said and done and they charged me, they then tell me I would be paying installments which I never wanted to do to begin with. Then they set up my phone and made the pin up themselves so I couldnât get into my account without calling customer service which was a whole process. The store then told me if I was having issues to come back after 14 days with them knowing that would be the period that I wouldnât be able to return the phone. 2 days later I asked for my original IPhone back in which I bought myself through apple and they refused to give it back even after I explained they stuck me on installments which isnât what I wanted to do and made it seem like the starting cost to start service etc was the iPhone payment. They had my phone in their store but refused to give it back to me saying it was already sent out. This place is a scam. The blonde white girl had an attitude and starting saying stuff under her breath and threatened to call the cops on me when I was calm and didnât say anything rude or threatening, I wouldnât leave the store unless something was figured out. Upon they transferring my data to my phone they looked through my phone because they were talking amongst themselves about my texts and explicit pictures thinking I didnât hear them. She hushed when I said I had everything on my phone recording after she said she was going to call the police. This place is one of the worst AT&T stores. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! They will literally do anything to get you stuck on a contract. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Not to mention after trying to deal with them on the phone one of the young black workers hung up on my face. The manager who was a chubby white guy didnât even deal with the situation and snuck out of the store like no one would notice because he knew what they did and didnât want to deal with it. -1000/10. I still have all the videos on my cloud regarding the issue and a witness. If anyone else has this issue we can contact the attorney general. DO...
Read more9/22 Update - I received the response to my review and followed up with the information requested. I had to email them twice before they acknowledged receipt. That was a month ago with no additional follow up. It looks like they put out these responses to appear they take these things seriously, but it's just for show.
I switched to AT&T a couple months back because they were offering a free new samsung with the trade in or any old samsung in any condition. A good deal I thought at the time.
The staff was generally pleasant and helpful at the time I signed up. I was supposed to qualify for some discounts because of my employer. I was assure my monthly bill would be about $130/mo once the discounts were applied. I ended up calling and going back to the store on 3 separate occassions when my bills came in higher than expected. It was at this point that I learned that nearly all of the information I was given at the time I signed up was inaccurate. The associates, although nice people, clearly are not well informed about their plans and gave me terrible information. I found out about the issues after going back again and speaking with a manager. The plan pricing, monthly discount, and monthly cost of the phone were all inaccurate and cost more than they assured me would be the price.
My bill ended up being $180/mo. That is a significant difference from what we had originally discussed. I could have done better going with another company, but agreed to this deal based on the bad information their employees told me. The store tells me they can't do anything about it and I have to take it up with corporate. Corporate says that it's my problem and they take no responsibility. The whole sotuation is very disappointing. I was given bad information by AT&T employees (3 different associates) and the company refuses to take any responsibility. I have wasted hours on the phone with them now. At this point I'd just like to get away from AT&T and go with another carrier. Apparently that will cost me a couple hundred dollars to complete.
Bad business by this branch and company at large. Proceed with caution if doing business here. You can't trust their staff will have good information and once you sign up, AT&T does its best to trap you. Corporate does not care about your problems and won't make any effort to follow...
Read moreHave fun buying a phone from at&t. I ordered 2 Galaxy s10+'s online. 2 days go by and I get an email saying to go into the store to provide more identification. I go to this store and it takes 2 hrs to get the phones ordered. This makes it twice that they pulled my credit. It shows up as a hard inquiry! I ended up getting one of the phones a week later than they said I'd get. Then I get an email say the order was postponed. I call customer service and ask what is going on because I needed the phone for my gf before she went on a trip. They said to go to the store and cancel the order and pick one up at the store. The rep said they had a different color, but she needed a phone so I said ok. He said I could go ahead and cancel the order. So I cancel the order. He then tells me that I would need to pay for the phone up front, $1,000. He then said to go to the other store and they can fix it. This is the third time they pulled my credit! I call customer service as I'm driving to the other store. He said to go in the store and to let him talk to the rep so they can figure it out. I get there and they then tell me they are out of phones!!! So I end up talking to the customer service rep for almost 3 hrs and get the phone reordered. 2 days later I get an email stating that the order has been cancelled because I didn't accept terms and conditions which I did as I was talking to the rep for 3 hrs! 4 times they have pulled my credit at this point! I would usually give up by now, but it's buy one get one free. So please send me the other phone!!! And it's a family plan! So I get fed up and contact them on Facebook. I have been talking to a lady from their social media team now for a couple weeks now and still nothing! Still don't have they phone. So now the bill is coming up and I'm going to have to pay more for the single plan, we still have to pay for my gf's current phone and I still don't have the be other phone and have no answers from at&t. One more thing, since the other phone is now not "preorder" we won't get the free Galaxy buds from Samsung. I would just pay a bit more and avoid the hassle of of having to deal with off shore call centers and being passed around from person to person and never getting answers. I would avoid at&t. They have some major issues going on. They can't even get a phone out to...
