Veneto's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Clifton Park

The pizza was average but the service was poor. They overbilled me and would not fix it... I ordered several pizzas and some wings. One of the pizza's I ordered was a small specialty pizza for my daughter knowing she never eats much of what I get her so a 6 cut was more than enough. When I picked up the order I just handed the guy the credit card to pay and signed the slip. After I signed the slip I realized the bill was a lot more than it should have been. I asked the guy why what I ordered was so much more than the menu. Another employee handed me the food and I noticed the pizza boxes were all large pizza boxes. After he recapped the order I let him know I had not ordered a large specialty pizza. He looked at me confused and I let him know I did not want to pay for something that I did not order or that we would not eat. He said he could not credit my card for the overcharge at that time but would have the owner contact me since he was not there. It was Christmas Eve afternoon and I just wanted to get home with my family. It was an $11 over charge on a small order. I was going to tip them anyway for being open on Christmas Eve but since they overcharged me on their own it changed the plan. I left my contact info and never heard from anyone.

We order take out twice per week at different resturants and I wanted to support a local small business so we ordered here with the intention of continuing to do so whenever we wanted pizza. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

Ordered a pizza and curly fries took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to be delivered. The delivery guy called immediately rude as I answered the phone telling me he couldn’t find my apartment and I had two minutes to come outside and find him before he left. I tried nicely to give him directions, his response to my directions was he was done driving all over and to come outside now or he was leaving. At this point I felt he was very disrespectful and asked him why he thought he could speak to a customer like that and it’s his job to find my house and deliver my pizza not for me to be walking the streets looking for his car. He then hung up on me, drove by my apartment and threw my pizza and fries all over the parking lot of my complex and drove off. When I called the owner to complain about the driver, my long wait for my food that I couldnt eat because it was now thrown all over my parking lot he said I was lying and his driver wouldn’t not do that. The driver told him he left on my porch because I was rude. He left on the porch he couldn’t find? I took pictures of the food all over my drive way and sent them too his phone. He said there wasn’t 12 slices in the photo so I must have ate some and then threw on the driveway for a refund. He refused to give me a refund and told me he was closed and I could call grub hub if I wanted anything further from him. Worst experience I have ever had in my life with a business. Ordered food, waited over an hour. Once it arrived my 24 cut barley had any cheese and was burnt. I called for a refund. In regards to the lack of cheese(there were some slices that had none at all!) I was advised I should have paid for extra cheese. In regards to the refund I was told I'd have to drive to the store and "prove" it too him that it was burnt. I went to the store even after paying a delivery fee and waiting over an hour for it.The rude delivery driver told me I needed to "get a real house". I was told I can not have a refund but I could sit in the store while he made a new one. No. At this point I am over it, just want my money back and to move on. He said no refund, leave my store or I'll call the police then took my pizza behind the counter. He ended up calling the police and telling them I threatened him and was using racial slurs which is not even close to the truth. The police said "we cant legally make you give her a refund but we believe you should".... he didnt. I ended up with no food and no refund. If I could give half a star i would have this...
