Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of De Witt

Five guys is amazing for when your craving a big juicy burger, their fries are top notch and i always struggle to finish all of them, they are a bit more expensive than fast food but its well worth the price for the quality and quantity of food that they give you. I dont really consider them fast food although you definitely get your food fast even when their busy especially if you dont bother with the fries. The five guys i frequent has one of those fancy drink machines that has almost any flavor you could want and again i have to emphasize that their food is restaurant quality their menu is small but thats the reason they can produce such high quality food so quickly, they choose to specialize and by doing one thing and doing it really well they have made many loyal customers who keep coming back when ever they get that five guys craving. One small thing that might be the most important, you cannot get their food to go at all, dont ever do it, never ever. Their food is meant to be eaten in house just like a restaurant it wont be anywhere near as good if you wait 30 minutes to drive home before you eat it. That includes grub hub and any delivery service just go inside and eat it there 20-30mins tops you can be in and out and your taste buds...

It’s group of people in front of us that were ordering were from a different country and did not speak English. When their food was called they do not recognize their number and took a while to go up. When they finally went up to check if it was there number the associate, a woman, rip the food away from them and refused to give them their food until they showed their receipt. I believe she was extremely racist and was rude to these people for no reason. I then went up to get my food and she handed me my food without even asking for my receipt.I thought in today’s world a company would have much more respect for people from other countries. I will no longer be eating at five guys and I will tell all my friends and family about this awful experience and how racist this company is. But this is not the end of it. The next associate who came up with food. Called out the number once and when nobody responded he began to yell rudely for the person to come up. My friend was so startled by the actions of the associates that they were too afraid to go up and ask why the order was incomplete. I cannot believe the rudeness of the people at this establishment and I give five stars to five guys for rudeness...

During a blizzard storm on Friday January 5th around 9:30pm my pregnant wife was craving five guys so I drove half way there and decided to give them a call first to make sure they were still open because a lot of fast food spots closed early. So I call, a woman answered and I asked her If they were still open and she says “no we closed at 8pm”, I then said “if you closed a hour and a half ago why are you still answering phones” , she then said “because we still have to clean” and hung up on me. I felt it to be kind of odd that a food restaurant would answer the phone a hour and a half after they are closed. At this point I’m almost to the store so I just drove past it to go to Wendy’s instead down the street and FIVE GUYS WAS ACTUALLY OPEN!
