I’ve had better pies, but these are probably the best in the area. The fruit in everything is super fresh. It’s a cute lil bakery experience to visit. Would I wait on that long af line I’ve seen in the holiday photos? No. I’ve had better pie at Stop and Shop and ShopRite in Scarsdale. But I’d go back for the sheer variety in pies for sure.
The other offerings are great here, cookies, rainbow cookies, bread, Bundt cake, etc.
I want to settle an issue I’ve read about in these reviews. I ordered the jelly doughnuts just to see if it was even possible to suck the jelly out. It is DEFINITELY not possible to empty the doughnuts of jelly or even lick it out. I had five people try besides me. So, it seems like there are fluke experiences where, indeed, the doughnuts are NOT filled. I do not believe the customers should have faced blame for the barren doughnuts. May God protect you from...
Read moreThe absolute BEST mini jelly donuts hands down! These jelly donuts are like donut holes, but on steroids! Galloways is open on weekends only, and when we get there on Saturday morning they are so soft and fresh, you can’t stop eating them! The small is about 9 or so. They come in a large paper bowl and wrapped in a plastic bag. These will definitely be a great desert to bring to someone’s house! Oh, did I mention that every inch of them is covered in powdered sugar! Ugh..now I want more! Tip: if you are bringing them somewhere, people tend to eat 2-3 each....

Key lime with whipped cream topping was a huge flop. Crust like the banana cream pie, but it should have been the signature graham cracker crust that is the hallmark of an authentic key lime pie.
Biggest offense was the lime filling itself--tasted like it had been poured out of a can, was bouncy and gelatinous rather than creamy in texture, and it lacked the sharpness and acidity characteristic of a good key lime pie. In was, in a word, awful. 2 out of 10 because crust was good for what it was, even thought it didn't belong in a key lime pie....
