The Formosa Coffee — Restaurant in Town of Eastchester

This was my second time coming to this new coffee spot and the reason I found it was just very simply I look on Google for cafés in my area because I have my own business and I don’t want to work from home every single day so I like to spice it up by finding great coffee shops that have great quality coffee beans & great service. You will definitely find that here. I have also been in the service for my entire life. Still am. It is very important to me to always feel welcome and comfortable. Every person I’ve encountered behind the counter is just so warm, helpful and sweet. I’m disappointed at myself that I do not remember the names at the moment but yesterday I almost had a heart attack because I was so frazzled that morning with work that I left the charger for my laptop at home and I noticed it when I was working from the café and my laptop was dying!!! I was really disappointed in myself because I drove all the way there to that café because I really needed to get work done. I was behind. I was so desperate that I asked the kind young lady behind the counter if she would happen to have any kind of wire or a charger that may charge my laptop. At first, she said no, but then she thought about it and she found a way to make it work with an iPad charger. I always tip with whatever cash I can because I enjoy staying in that café for at least 3 to 4 hours. You never feel rushed, and you feel the hospitality!! I asked for recommendations the first time that I went there, and they took the time to listen to my needs, wants and what I like and dislike And they finally offered me the salted latte and wow boy is it good !! SPECIAL PLACE !!!... it's my "SPOT"... my "HANG OUT"... my "JAM"... i'm SERIOUS !!!!... i FULLY VIBE with this COFFEE SHOP !!!... westchester is FLUSH with LOUD, CHAOTIC, CROWDED, UNKEMPT coffee places... we've ALL been there... KIDS SCREAMING, BARSITAS smashing, clanking, gossiping with their FELLOW BARISTAS... at TOP VOLUME !!!!... "THE FORMOSA COFFEE" is an ESCAPE from ALL of that !!!!... STYLISH (and i mean that!)... I’m thoroughly impressed with this café — the lattes are outstanding, and the service from the entire staff is both personable and top-notch. The atmosphere is very inviting, with an abundance of natural light and a calm, quiet vibe that’s perfect for getting work done or enjoying a relaxed conversation.

On my first visit earlier this week, I ordered a salted cream latte with a pump of caramel. They thoughtfully suggested I try it without the caramel first, explaining it might make the drink too sweet and throw off the balance. I appreciated the insight — and they were absolutely right!! It was perfect as is.

I returned today and had Stephanie as my barista. She crafted an exceptional latte — not only was it delicious, but the presentation was flawless (truly, chef’s kiss) ❤️ We had a lovely conversation while she prepared my drink, and it really set a positive tone for my weekend.
