This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant, and it’s just down the street from my apartment! It has an authentic, old-school charm with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch—friendly and attentive from start to finish.
As soon as you're seated, they bring out fresh bread and olives, and the olive oil was absolutely delicious. The owners, Nino and Jimmy, are absolutely lovely—welcoming, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their presence really adds to the experience and makes you feel like part of the family.
Every dish I tried was fantastic, with generous portions at fair prices. At the end of the meal, they bring out a giant tray of dessert samples to choose from—a fun and unexpected touch! Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I were too full to indulge this time.
This spot is perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. Plus, they have a pizza restaurant in the front if you just want to grab a pie to go. I’m thrilled to have such an amazing Italian restaurant within walking distance and can’t...
Read moreNice new spot that seems to still be working through some minor things. There's a parking lot in front (it's quite small, but was luckily able to get a spot). I believe there's nearby street parking, so not too much of a big deal. Ordered the cheese wheel, but because we were seated downstairs, the waiter had to invite us upstairs to see it being prepared. Was a little awkward standing next to the entrance door in middle of the lobby just watching this. Had I known it was so public, we probably wouldn't have went to watch. I think this is more of a technical issue because the wheel can't be transported downstairs, so it almost makes no sense for it to be offered to anyone not seated upstairs. The whole point was to experience it being made, but since we were crowding up the lobby, I felt like it was rushed. Not sure what the workaround for this would be, but I understand it was out of the waiter's control. Outside of this, the service was great and friendly. The chicken entree and pasta was decent. The chocolate chip lava caked dessert specifically was delicious. Overall, I'd recommend coming here as long as...
Read moreVery disappointed. I had stopped going to Angelina's a while back and had forgotten why I'd stop..today was a reminder of why.
I placed an order for pick up, the guy told me the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes..20 minutes later, food was not ready. I had ordered an eggplant parm slice (shouldn't have taken 20+ minutes in the first place). To make my eggplant parm slice, the guy, who had just handled cash WITH HIS BARE HANDS, proceeded to grab a cheese slice and throw dried up breaded eggplant and threw it on the slice..WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS AFTER TOUCHING MONEY!! NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE!!
I don't mean to be a germaphobe and I'm usually not..but hello..!? coronavirus!!??
Never again..I should have trusted my gut and just gone to Villagio's up the block...
